Hopeless
Although initially it identifies the printer, it immediately reverts to a different printer. There is no way of changing the printer, other than by reinstalling the app. At the best of times, wireless connectivity is not one of Dymo's strengths, but this particular app is poorly designed and simply does not work.

Needs to be improved
When it works, the machine and label itself is great. But it often disconnects and freezes when you try to edit labels. If this simple element was fixed, I would give it 5 stars. But it’s a time concussing process right now.

Absolute garbage. I have had the Dymo Label/Writer for the past year now and have only been able to successfully use it about 2 times. It always has connection issues and every time you go to reset the printer to fix that it jams up the labels ending in a spiraling fall from sanity which lead to today’s events in which the printer is now in a thousand pieces and will never cause me any issues ever again

Tarnished reputation
Nothing says ‘modern workflow’ like a spinning iOS app, a brittle Mac driver, and DRM on paper. DYMO successfully solved the problem of customers enjoying their product.

This is a useless app
The app can’t find anything, it has no way to troubleshoot which makes it useless because you can’t Problem solve any issues which it has in abundance

If there were any way to leave negative stars, I would. This app is pure garbage. Apparently, Dymo doesn’t care that their app is completely useless or else they’d fix it. Forget trying to connect to your printer. It won’t.

Cannot find printer
I’ve had my Dymo ML for a few years, and it worked great when it connects to the app! However, just pulled it out (after some time of not using it) and the app can’t find it. Not sure if it’s a product issue, or an app issue. Very disappointed as it is now probably just trash.
Unusable
Hours of resetting and quitting and re launching I printed off one label before it disconnected again and refuses to connect again. Absolutely infuriating I will be returning this pile of junk.
Dymo Lablemaker 450
I have owned a Dymo Lablemaker for years and used it with no problems connected to my Apple Laptop. I found that my iPad would do everything else I needed except the Lablemaker. My son needed the Laptop (does not live near enough to share) so I gave up my laptop. I sure wish the reviews were more encouraging as I am about to upgrade my ipad.

Still useless
Thought I’d give it a shot. Still can’t find the printer with iPhone. Pull your finger out Dymo and fix it!!!!!
Disgraceful
This is the worst app… I practically have a brand new Dymo Bluetooth connected labeler, and does not communicate with the label printer, it is stuck in virtual mode. I reset power down and install the app again and still it would not work!
Disappointing
Absolutely ridiculous how often this app crashes and will not connect to my printer. Constantly attempting to reconnect and sometimes it takes 30 minutes to an hour before we actually connect to the printer, if at all.
Has potential
So this software would be everything that is needed IF I could get it to detect my dymo labelwriter 450 via AirPrint. I have it shared from a PC to broadcast over AirPrint and my phone recognizes it in other apps. This app does not list any supported models so I cannot easily know whether or not to expect mine to work with it, nor will anyone know not to download it if their printer isn’t in the list.
Also, I tried directly connecting my 450 via a lighting->USB adapter and it did not recognize, although I expect iOS restrictions to make this more difficult on the developer side than implementing AirPrint.

Terrible, horrible, waste of time
When the app works it’s great! But that is rare. Such a waste of time trying to get it up and running!!!
