OK, but could be better
App works ok. It controls the air con. However, it does not read the temp or settings from the unit. The wall unit shows the room temp and the set temp. But this data is not transferred to the app. Needs work!
New quality of life improvements finally!
New scheduling feature when you can set an on off entry as 1 entry! Small change I just noticed but so convenient.
Still getting the weird having to log back in.
Same issue I have with the app is that the address component has been removed and the app now asks for your location. I don’t want the weather to be based as to where I am but where my house is.
It would be interesting for the dev team to implement APIs to allow integration with home assistant, making it the first aircon brand to officially support it without some funky hack around.

Needs to be removed from App Store.
The functionally of this app is great, but it recently started using >90% of my battery (so says the battery app) for “background” activity. I’m not sure if it’s been hacked for mass blockchain mining or something else. This is meant to be a simple IoT control app, there is absolutely no legitimate reason for that much power consumption.

Massive improvement
I was using Midea Smart Home instead, as it was much better and actually worked.
Actron have taken those improvements to this app, now Easy Connect is actually useful and seems to work!

Needs a UX designer to overhaul
Needs a serious user experience designer to get hold of this. Mickey Mouse atm.
Hopeless
The app constantly logs you out. The screens make very little sense, and the schedules don’t work. Today I discovered that the sharing of devices has quit working too.

I paid $600 to have a Wi-Fi box added to be able to control my ducted aircon remotely, but this app is useless all I can do is turn it on and off and control temperatures, the schedules don't work at all which was what I really wanted as I always forget the turn it off before leaving for work which costs me a fortune.

The app is fine for bare basics if you need to turn it off or on, set temperatures and modes.
However, it is uncertain as to which time zone the schedules are based on, the continuous requirement to re login, limited settings and usability of the interface.
App needs a massive overhaul if there is anyone still looking after the app. Integration for Home Assistant would be awesome.

Not great! Frustrating!
The app is not at all user friendly, it keeps logging out at random times with no set pattern (within the house, left the house, sometimes will stay logged in for days other times it logs me out multiple times per day and doesn’t seem to be connected to use or no use)
I often get the message of the air con not being connected when it is and just generally the app is not user friendly especially for someone with chronic health issues and disabilities who needs the air con for medical reasons
The only reason I still have it is because I have connected it to Amazon Alexa and I can turn on/off the air conditioner that way without having to use this stupid app but for others it would be good to improve the app and I still use it when I am too sick to speak
But I also wonder if any developers or whatever actually read these reviews and take any notice of them

Not great
Constantly having to log in just to turn your own aircon on is ridiculous . Please fix your app to stay logged in. Makes no sense the way it is
Won’t show 2.4ghz when trying to connect
I haven’t been able to connect my split aircon with wifi. I paid $500 for two wifi dongles for 2 units and when the app searches for the wifi to connect the unit to the home wifi it shows the 5g connection (unit has to have 2.4g) and the pairing fails every time. We tried 4 apple devices and there is no way to get this to work. Waste of $500.

Keeps Logging out
The app keeps logging out after half an hour or so. Interface could be a lot better.
Always goes offline
Another crappy app by Actron. The A/C is continually offline when you need it. I paid for the ability to remotely control and it’s not working.
Use Midea Air or MSmartHome instead
This app is hopeless. Sometimes air conditioners would take 1-5 minutes of “loading” before the app would recognise their existence, and I’d constantly be signed out.
I tried to be helpful and work with the support team - even going as far as providing credentials to help them debug the issue.
Turns out the issue wasn’t with my setup because I reconnected the machines to *Midea Air* (because they seem to be just reskinned Midea products… on Actron’s website it says “Australian designed & built”… but that’s a rant for another time…) and they worked perfectly with instant response time!

Goesoffline online randomly
Install worked ok but then it randomly shows device is offline only to become online if I check later. It needs to be more reliable .

Hi Support, please look at this app as it just does not allow me to sign in! Very frustrating! Had to pay to get the hardware to operate the device basically for nothing!
