This app doesn’t work.
Apple should remove this app from the Apple Store. It does NOT work.
I could not connect to my WD mycloud home drive on my Apple TV using this EasyCloud app. It is a complete waste of my hard earned $2.99. Buyers beware of this non-working app, which Apple should remove this non-working app from the Apple Store so no more lemmings will fall over the cliff like I did thinking it was going to work, which this app will NOT work.

Won’t work on APPLETV, even though it says it does. Won’t even work on an iPAD PRO. HOW CAN I GET A REFUND out of principle , not about the $2.99 that I wasted. Apple should remove from AppStore
No Access to WDCloud
Since I have an earlier software release of WD MyCloud , I was expecting this App to provide the connectivity. However it fails to find the device. The search goes into an endless loop! The interface is poor providing no update or feedback. I would avoid this utility until the issues are resolved and the interface is improved.

It’s not working
I can’t even log in on the Apple TV, nor on the phone - Can’t do anything. The developer is not doing anything - not answering for the requests. Awful service
Seriously flawed
Well, just got the App. I haven’t got past discovering your device yet. There are no other options. So since it can’t discover my device I can’t do anything else. Good luck with a Google search. Every cloud comes up except help with this App.

Seen some bad reviews for this however I can’t agree with them so thought I would add my thoughts.
I’ve had this app on my Apple TV’s for 4 years and use it to stream my movie collection ripped from old dvd’s I’ve collected over the years to my TV’s around the house all the time. It does what it says it should do and is easier to use than WD’s own.
In my opinion it’s a great app.

Customer support nonexistent
First off they should have no stars. I have sent several emails about the app for Apple TV not working. I have been waiting for a response since May 17th and nothing. And all there other apps do not work. I had to get refunds frim Apple. They just take your money and when upgrades to Apple products happen, and the app breaks - they already have your money and have no incentive to fix the app, because you cannot get anyone. You cannot locate a proper telephone number for the company. If you do it does not work. Your are forced to email and no one responds.

Misleading advertising
I bought this App thinking that it would allow me to play the videos I have saved on My Cloud Home device (as explained in the description). But it is not working, I am unable to login and a message appears telling me that I am using the wrong App and that I need a different App…

Paid $4.99 for an app that won’t allow you to log in, just a response of incorrect username or password, same username and password works on all other apple devices.

Wouldn’t discover my WD MyCloud hangs and never returns. Why not allow the user to supply the IP address? Dumb.
