This app was very disappointing. I guess it was supposed to be “relatable” but …it’s more like a caricature of Black slang 😳😳😳. A lot of it was just cringey and outdated honestly. “Youse can trust ‘em n spread da kind of love dat keeps ya happy and fulfilled”

likeeeee no actual black person talks like that outside of a historical fiction novel

When users find such affirmations, they should be reported so they can be either edited or removed. I appreciate you taking the time to leave a review. This only helps us get better.

The EBONY NOTES app is amazing I love getting push notifications with different affirmations throughout the day. The app helps me to stay motivated.

I love this app! It’s so simple that it’s hard to figure out why it’s so effective. In a world where I’m not seen as the default, Ebony Nots hits my notifications several times a day, reminding me that I do belong, and I am enough. Who ever created this, THANK YOU.

Just what I needed

I love that the affirmation are really relatable and that they don’t feel corny or disconnected from who I am. So many categories to choose from. Easy to find motivational content to fit my mood.
