MoreYou can confirm if you meet the conditions by installing the app and completing the login process. If you cannot log in, it means you do not meet the necessary criteria and cannot use the app. The conditions include being a member of Kyushu Electric Power's 'Kirei Life Plus' or 'Kyuden Web Statement Service', having only one electricity contract registered, having a smart meter installed for that contract, and being on an eligible pricing plan.
For 'Kirei Life Plus', registration is free and allows access to services like electricity bill and usage inquiries, and web-based meter readings. Detailed registration information is available on their website. 'Kyuden Web Statement Service' allows you to view your electricity and gas usage online. You can find more details on how to register for this service on their website.
You will receive notifications from the app when challenges are available. Simply press the 'Participate' button from the notification. Even if you miss the notification, you can still join the challenge from the 'Eco Challenge' screen within the app as long as the application period has not ended.
For energy-saving challenges, success is achieved by reducing your electricity consumption by at least 0.01 kWh compared to your past usage. For usage-shifting challenges, success means increasing your electricity usage by at least 0.01 kWh during the designated time period compared to your past usage. These targets are set based on guidelines from the Agency for Natural Resources and Energy.
There are no penalties whatsoever if you fail a challenge. You are encouraged to participate freely without any concern about negative consequences for not meeting the targets.
