I’m a commercial grower and when this app works it works great, there have been multiple times (including today) where the app just won’t load any of my controllers. I still get alarms but the app won’t load the controllers so I can see what’s wrong. Happens all the time for days at a time before resolving.

Extremely Slow and Frustrating to Use
The app seems to have a good concept, but in my experience the performance is extremely slow. It takes far too long to respond, load, and move between sections, to the point that it becomes almost impossible to use normally. I hope the team can optimize it soon, because right now the user experience is very frustrating.

Problems after problems
I’ve had the blue labs controller for a little over a year. This controller disconnects a few times a month. Sometimes days. We’re going on the longest disconnect ever. 1 week. And looking back on emails there was a disconnect 2 weeks ago. If I could give negative stats I would. Other electronics I use that store info on servers have problems maybe twice a year for 24hrs, not weeks on end. And these are highly integrated electronics. Not a simple graph of ph and time stamps.

I give it two stars as 1 would be harsh! When it works it works well, at present I’m getting messaged all the time saying it has disconnected, it’s bad to pay all this money then have to by cctv to look at the screen
Offline and not updating values
Not working ! coding is buggy and offline all the time for spending a lot of money on something that’s not basically working 50% of the time - it’s basically logging but not LIVE values it’s not as good as they make out in the advertising!!!! Why not make it live values instead of 5-10 minutes updated values from logging ! Chinese ones half the price working live time 2/5 secs updated values - and very accurate so I ask why bluelab ? I have emailed and made tickets on the site but never answered!

For a company as pristine as Blue-lab and charge an over 200$ for a test pen and not be able to use it in correspondence with the app is insane to charge so much and preform so unacceptably.

But when not working it is only useful that the controller saves your inputs from the past time app was working. Bc this you wont have to manually re-enter all your settings if you set it before. But if its not working and you make manual changes they dont transfer back to the app when it works again.

Update - If purchasing for WiFi features, look elsewhere. After a multiple week issue where I couldn’t even connect to the app after purchase I’d say it successfully opens 50% of the time.
Very well considered.
A lot of manufacturers seem they bolt on apps, where this feels nicely considered and designed.
I did have a few small issues with logging in but the support team was absolutely incredible with their response time and genuinely tried to get me up and running as fast as they could.
It’s been invaluable for my readings to be able to refer to past measurements.

Cannot get past loading screen
I purchased the blue lab guardian monitor to keep an eye on my grow. Everything seems to work just fine in person but if I try to log into the Edina app, I get stuck at the loading screen. It won’t let me try a different username it won’t let me do anything. I spent too much money on this for not to work. I’m going out of town and I’d like to monitor things. customer support just told me to keep an eye on the alerts page, but nothing seems to be happening. I’ve made two accounts because it said that accounts made in December don’t work so I made one yesterday and that doesn’t work on my phone or iPad. I was able to sign in on the computer with the second user account. I made a few days ago, but that doesn’t do anything for me as I’m supposed to be able to do this on my phone and the computer needs some kind of a stick to work with some other device. Very disappointed. Please fix this before I go out of town on Wednesday.

Absolute garbage
This app is completely worthless. It won’t even start up after creating an account. I purchased the Bluelab Guardian specifically for the advertised remote capabilities. If the app doesn’t work the equipment is worthless.
The product is no better than the $150 Apera monitor. I was really hoping the Bluelab was as good as advertised. I guess I’ll be returning the monitor since it can’t do what it’s supposed to.

App won't open
Bought this specific monitor for wifi capabilities. App won't open on phone. Submitted support ticket and recommended action was "wait five minutes for it to open" while it's fixed. That didn't work either.

Apparently app not loading
If app doesn’t load and updated to the latest please don’t release. As a QE engineer, I would right away reject production release version. When you cannot support app in iOS or android platforms better give it up maintaining.
