My thoughts

Sorry you're having difficulty with the Edsby app. Try this: https://www.edsby.com/help/navigating-edsby-app-students/. In case you're not aware, a richer Edsby user experience is via desktop or laptop web browser. Point a browser to your school or district’s Edsby server address, in the form of http://your-server.edsby.com.
Broken App
Response from developer
There must be something with your device. Ask your school for assistance if needed. Thousands of other users successfully install and configure the Edsby app every day, especially this time of year.
Dreadful app
Response from developer
If you're not able to log in, you've got your username, password or Edsby server address wrong. Or, your district has tied its Edsby system into Google or Microsoft login systems. Many Edsby sites customize how users log in. Ask your school what you should be using. This might also help: https://www.edsby.com/help/students/navigating-the-edsby-app
Terrible

Edsby has notifications. Have you set them up? They're detailed here, along with other capabilities of the Edsby app: https://www.edsby.com/help/navigating-the-edsby-app/
Pain and suffering

Thank you.
Can’t log in
Response from developer
Pursue any login problems with your school district. It may periodically have issues with its central login systems, or might be choosing to suspend logins temporarily. Each Edsby system uses local school district systems to manage its logins.
Logs me out randomly
Response from developer
Your school or district may have set a policy to require re-authentication regularly for security, e.g. when logins to all your official systems are managed by Google or Microsoft. That's your school or district's choice, not the Edsby software.
Glitchy Galore
Response from developer
Edsby is constantly introducing new features and applying fixes. There are indeed many teacher features like gradebook that require considerable screen real estate and are therefore not available on the mobile app and are not planned for mobile. May we suggest you report issues to your internal Edsby team at your school or district and they can help troubleshoot, and involve Edsby, if there are indeed bugs causing content or assessment problems for you.
Straight teeth
Response from developer
Edsby is continually improving its mobile apps. On mobile, there’s a lot to shoehorn into a small user interface, and different user roles have different priorities. Expect further enhancements soon. In the meantime, you can always point a laptop or desktop browser to your school or district’s Edsby system for a richer experience.
Terrible App!
The design looks old and boring. Notifications can be annoying, and the app does not always make it clear what needs to be done. Using Edsby feels like extra work instead of something that helps students stay organized. I would not recommend this app unless it becomes much easier and faster to use.
Response from developer
Sorry you're not enjoying the Edsby app. Try this: https://www.edsby.com/help/navigating-edsby-app-students/ - which includes details on how to set the notifications you want. In case you're not aware, a richer Edsby user experience is via desktop or laptop web browser. Point a browser to your school or district’s Edsby server address, in the form of http://your-server.edsby.com.
