Great View of my energy use!

I love being able to see more than one transmitter in the different widgets.

Does what it needs to, but could be improved

Let’s me see real time info at a glance. UI could use a rework for mobile devices

Good product. Terrible App.

App is outdated. Does not fit properly in screen. Controls are laggy. Needs to be updated ASAP.

Was good at one time

App no longer works and I'm out the money on the device. πŸ˜•

Will it ever ve updated?

The app is from 1990

Broken

App doesn't work.

Great Product, Terrible iOS App

I really like the product but the iOS app is awful. Looks like a badly formatted web page. Frequently doesn't work.

Terrible Upgrade

The new upgrade is a joke. At least in the old app you could put in tariffs and a recurring monthly charge. Now the app is just a link to the web monitor. If I wanted that piece of cr*p I would open a web browser and go to the site.

Tariff doesn't work

Tariff setting doesn't stick.. Reverts to $1 everytime and doesn't save which results in instant energy costs at about 100x higher than should be.

Please fix this.

Improved app. Still a work in progress.

The engage app is improving but still has a long way to go. The only useful screens as of now are the real time one (I use the one that shows the current and several previous ones as fever bars fading off into the distance - nice design of that screen.) and the 24 hour history. All the others are fubar. There are data handling issues throughout the app. Don't like the answer for how much energy you've used today? No problem, cycle through the time scales and it will change. Unfortunately, doing so only causes it to rise. Similar bizarre behavior on the cost screen. Yes, it now accepts a single tariff. Of course, the entire world either uses time of use or cumulative tiers, so I'm not sure what that does for anyone.

Lest you think I'm anti efergy, that's only partly true. I've given them quite a sum of money for several monitors. Mostly they seem to mostly work. The system is helping me reduce my consumption. It just isn't really done yet and it would have been nice to know that beforehand. I would have still probably bought the equipment, but I would have done so with very different expectations.

This is for the update of May 19, 2014

I have no idea if it is going to address the issues with the app unpairing the devices, but the app itself is now broken. Cost so far, and Budget widgets both just return errors and the energy graph is a blank page (just like the iPad app) until you also click the arrow on the right of the screen. Seriously efergy, have you no QC on your software?

Terrible UI

Handy tool, but so buggy. My graph gets little 0 gaps im between.

And the UI looks like something a kid put together. Please follow Apple UI guidelines!

Horrible

Would give zero stars. App loses signal with transmitter, than cannot pair. Lose all data when not working.

Not ready for prime time

This app's heart is in the right place, but it's not ready for prime time. Chief among the issues are basic data handling. For example, if you try to scroll forward or backward in the multi day summary of energy use, the energy use numbers will grow every time it grabs data from the server. After a few back and fourths, I am now apparently at 3000 kWh for the month. The app is also quite confounding to navigate easily. It makes no sense why the starting page is not the page where you can choose what you want to see, rather than a huge bar graph about what your usage is, which doesn't actually contain any data. Add to that the issue of tariffs, which are only time of day based (European style) and not how most of the US does it (total usage tiers). On the plus side, the live energy dial does seem to work fairly reliably. With some work to fix and increase functionality and usability, this app will be cool.

Far below expectations

Could be a great app, but clunky and buggy. Barely useable. Crashes. Synchronization failures. No obvious support or self service guidance on how to resolve issues. I have on bothe iPhone and iPad, but use the browser to access my consumption data...

Crashes in iOS 7

Cannot set tariffs as app crashes as soon as a time is selected.

3-phase unit

Great App!!, lets you monitor instantly the current draw, shows graphs and follows your montly budget. Easy and safe to install in minutes!!

App difficult to use

This app is not optimized for use in USA.

Thanking you
