Pretends to be an app
It has you running around in circles…simply does not work…beyond frustrating!
Useless app
- Can’t scan QR codes so you have to enter the serial number.
- Can’t even add the latest tools like the EGO Power+ pressure washer because that category doesn’t exist in this app.
- No instructional videos or pdfs of the owners manuals.
There’s really no value in this app.

It's making me doubt about the brand EGO
I'm going to return 4 products I purchased from Lowe's for over 4k, only because of this app. I won't recommend this brand, this app shows how much they are dedicated to their users.

Useless confusing app
This is not how you streamline a product with an app. Look at your rating! What a 1.2 star rating says to me; the company doesn’t care. That’s all I need to know. My mower works great, but this app, is beyond terrible, and confusing. Even the instructions on the mower differ than what this app says and does. EGO, I say this to you, lose the staff that made this app they have no clue what they are doing. They have cost your company thousands of dollars, and since this app is so terrible I’m unsure whether I will buy anymore of these products. A company that can’t stand behind its app or streamline it with barcodes or QR codes just can’t put much effort into its products. Buyer beware, your product will most like work great but don’t look to this app for charging purposes or anything else for that matter. Even registering the product became a nightmare. If I could click on ZERO stars I would’ve. Judging by the review left two years ago obviously nothing has changed. 2 years those worthless app developers had to fix this and you paid them for nothing!!!!

This app is absolutely useless and serve no purpose. I registered a product, but it will not let me add the product to my tools since it doesn’t show that the new eight amp battery exists.
When I called customer service they were clueless. They said it won’t show up on your app and when I asked why they couldn’t tell me.
The battery shows up online on my tools but not on this app.
Don’t waste your time and download this app because there’s nothing you can do with it and it’s not current

What’s the point of this app?
Totally useless. It should either be fixed or removed from the App Store.
CH7000 Does Not Connect to Wifi
I just purchased an Ego lawn mower that includes the CH7000 charger and a 12ah battery. I downloaded the app and registered the charger but it did not give me the Wifi connection option. I can see the device on my network but the app doesn’t provide the connection feature. I spoke to customer service and they said that several other customers have the same problem and they don’t know why it is happening and do not have a solution. I very disappointed and can’t understand how this could be an issue when Wifi connectivity is so mature. I do not recommend this product at all.

Puffware, don’t waste your app space!
Zero stars really.
None of their tools connect. The fact that it hasn’t been updated in over a year tells me they are just puffing the tool support and aren’t serious about giving us features that work!
Ego is deceiving their customers into thinking they can get status from batteries , etc on their smartphones. This causes me to trust them less and it will hurt their business if they continue to boast features that don’t work.

Doesn’t connect to wifi, period.
Not as advertised, cannot connect to wifi
It appears they deleted the ability to connect to either wifi or Bluetooth. The ch7000 charger wifi button works as I’m able to see the Ego ch7000 network, but the app has no options related to remote connection. Very disappointed.

The app is utterly worthless. Go read all of the other 1 star reviews and you’ll have a good understanding of the nonsense that EGO puts its customers through in an attempt to register their product. Save yourself time and just register the product online and skip the app. The 2D barcodes don’t scan via the app on an iPhone13 plus. You have to hand key in the serial numbers multiple times.
The latest model lawnmower that I ordered isn't listed in their registration list, so I had to include it under last years model #. Poor execution at its finest. Shame on you EGO or Chevron or whoever you are. Do better! And don’t even get me started on the documentation or whatever you call this poor excuse of a users manual and quick start guide. What a joke!

Useless App
The app serves no function. No instruction on connecting to bluetooth and WiFi. Once figured out connection is sketchy at best. Avoid.
Super slow and unreliable
Very slow to connect and has never sent notifications on battery is charged. 10 months since the last update, must be low priority for ego.

Difficult to connect to home wifi. Once connected, very slow to reconnect, even if app on Background App Refresh on iPhone. For the
POWER+ 700W CHARGER tool, text notification only (no sound when text arrives) when battery is fully charged, no email notification option.
App shows only generic Tool model numbers, not the actual model number you purchased. App does not show warranty information. QR code scanning does not work - on any of my EGO Tools. Camera does not focus. QR code scanning works fine on ALL of my other non-EGO device scans, so it’s not the iPhone camera, it’s the EGO app.

Très déçu. Dans le livre explicatif du chargeur 7000 watts, il dise de télécharger ce logiciel pour pouvoir faire fonctionner le wifi. Dommage il y a rien pour le wifi et en plus l’application est juste en anglais.
Inconsistent readings
The app is supposed to show your battery’s information however it does not refresh properly. I expected accurate readings as soon as I open the app. When I open the app the status always shows that it is not connected. I have configured my WiFi connection correctly. I have to click on my Power+ 700W charger for the battery status page for it to show on the Home Screen of the app. This information is supposed to show connection and battery percent but it does not. Please fix.

Great App! Ignore the bad reviews
Great app, I can see, KEYLESS START and monitor my Eco mower with this app. Keyless driving. All I need now is my phone.
Power is monitored via app - connects via Bluetooth. Can see other tools as well.
Couldn’t ask for more from the app unless it can do my taxes. Seriously.

Doesn’t seem to do much except show a list of my products. It’s not even showing the wi-fi function of my charger which according to the instructions I need the app to use.
