Caregiver

I live alone. 82. No caregiver. Would simply like a daily call to verify I’m ok. If no answer, call my emergency friend. All forms seem to require submission by a caregiver, not just an elderly person. Any help out there??!!

Question

Can there be more then one care taker I was trying to add another person but I don’t see an any options

Buggy

The app only seems to work one way. My father can check in but I cannot send a check in message to him. The heartbeat data also does not function/ send despite the permissions being correct.

Doesn’t work

I have an iPhone 13 pro, my elderly mom has an iPhone 11 and an apple watch se.

The app installed easily on both phones, but would not work when trying to check in. App kept asking my to check my network connection when I had strong 5g and Wi-Fi signals. I hit her call help function and cancelled it, and was never notified about the cancellation.

I tried uninstalling, reinstalling, shutting the phones off, adjusting whatever setting I could, and still no luck.

Hours of my life wasted trying to make this work.

Almost useful, but frustratingly not quite

Having an alert tell me everyday my parent is okay is a lot less useful than when the parent was meant to check in but didn’t. Why not only show alerts when they have missed a check-in?

Very helpful but

It’s easy to use, but I want to install it as a complication on my mom’s Apple Watch 6 SE. It was available as a complication on my 4 year old watch, but not on hers. It’s installed on her phone and mine.

Needs Update

This used to work. Doesn't work at all anymore.

Love this app!

I really love this app so far! It’s easy enough for my mom to use and respond back to me, which is a HUGE plus! I only wish the check-in notification would stay on her phone longer. If she isn’t holding her phone when I initiate it, then how does she know I’m trying to check in?
