App cannot pair
I tried to restart the app, camera, my phone, my internet router, the device simply does pair…
It goes to the final step where I scan QR code and the device says it paired successfully, after I press next the app goes back to home page and there is no device… I gave up and returned the device.

Don’t buy
Mine kept disconnecting and now it won’t connect again no matter how many time I restart it. Customer support is no help and unresponsive. Get a different baby monitor.
Trash
First they don’t put installation instructions in the manual, so you have to figure out how to use the clip stand or wall mount. An improper installation could be risky. This app is also poorly made, camera not being connected. Typical Chinese product from a small brand, making good product with VERY POOR manual, software, and customer support.

Could never connect my phone to the cámara
I tried everything trying to connect my phone to the cámara and nothing. I tried the Ellie app and this one as well and neither of them worked. Even after saying connection successful cámara doesn’t appear when I refresh the page. Really disappointed that this is happening. Being away from home and being able to still check on my baby it’s something really comforting for me. I’m really sad that won’t happen here.

The library is sorted by month not year, which is stupid. Since now is new year, I have to scroll to the end to find the photo and video. Please make changes!

Many glitches
I like that it is free. However, there is a noise that constantly on when I am listening in. Also, our notifications suddenly stop working. We had this device since April. And already issues.

Since yesterday both of our device suddenly appeared to be offline! This is just the new parent want… super unreliable!!
Terrible Support
Notifications stopped for my wife and I a few days ago. In trying to get support, I discovered the rebrand from Simhome to Ellie. When I contacted Support, they asked for a lot of unnecessary information and a video “for my particular issue”. How exactly do I take a video of them not sending notifications? Anyway, I setup an Ellie account, which loaded my Simhome profile and notifications started working again on Simhome. Pretty concerning that someone can just setup a new account and access data from another account. Connecting to WiFi is a chore and needs done repeatedly if you travel with it. SD cards are low quality and die. Take a backup if you can. Generally the product is ok once setup but I’d find another vendor if you haven’t bought in yet.

No QR CODE
I just got this so the app is clearly your newest& it does nothing. It’s light like it’s not ready for next step but that’s the 1st & only screen. It doesn’t come up on my Wi-Fi or Bluetooth!!! I have a severe special needs child & I don’t get any time so can I get mine back that I wasted on your device as well as my money

Notification doesn’t work
I have allowed immediate notification from iPhone setting, but still never get any notification. The Notification Center in the app shows REQUEST FAILED. Tried on android phone, same issue and error message. Not sure what to do. Please fix the bug.
So far pretty good with a backup.
I switched from Miku after they decided to charge for basic features.
The day and night time quality is so much clearer than Miku. It actually shows trackers on my baby so I know it’s not reading something else in the room (unlike Miku). The screen can be windowed on my phone so I can do other things and watch my baby (again unlike Miku).
However, the program does freeze. We have a backup audio only monitoring device (basic wireless receiver), and last night the Ellie froze again. I heard my son crying from our backup. Turned out he has a fever and wasn’t feeling well.
The other problem I have is that sometimes our internet goes and come back on again. The device doesn’t auto reconnect. You have to go back to the main screen and tap ‘enter’. Obviously problematic when you’re asleep and don’t know it stopped working.
If you resolve the freezing issue and reconnecting issue, you’d have a pretty solid system.

Buggy, but if they fix those bugs, great!
I was impressed with this the first day I used it with the monitor. Then the second day all the lullabies disappeared out of nowhere. So the functionality of where it plays a song when the baby starts to cry doesn’t work. Also I cannot put on a lullaby manually either. Everything else seems to work ok.
