Great Theaters terrible app
The website and the app aren’t connected. So if you purchase tickets from the website the app says… what are you talking about? You don’t have any tickets? And I often have to delete the app and reinstall it, just to get it to open.
Stop asking me to turn off notifications
I don’t need notifications from my movie theatre app every time I open it. I’ve turned it off on purpose. It wasn’t an accident. Quit asking
I love Emagine but…
For the last week, every time I try to open the app to look at showtimes, it’s stuck on the intro screen. The app is in dire need of an update it seems.

The app works great. But there is a service charge using it that is outrageous!!!!!! I went to the theatre and spent $45 on 4 tickets (2 adults, 2 children). The app tried charging me $52 because it had a $7 “service fee”. That’s nearly 20% just to use their app!!!!!!!!!
Just use that app to check times and availability. Then purchase in person or over the phone and save your hard earned cash.

Won’t launch
Downloaded twice. Each time I try to open the app just keeps repeating the intro screen animation. Terrible.
STOP ASKING ME TO TURN ON THE NOTIFICATIONS EACH TIME I OPEN THE APP
I mean please. Stop asking, I don’t want notifications and it’s a movie! I know what time I picked and when it is. I don’t need anymore pop ups.
Broken
The app will not open, it gets stuck on an endless loading animation. When it used to load properly, it would not link tickets purchased on the same account through the website to the app.

Never loads, forever crashing & linking your account is pointless if it’s showing no tickets have been purchased when they have been

Every time I try to make a purchase it just freezes and I’m unable to do anything. Tried to close it and open it again, nope. Tried to restart it, nope. The only thing that works is deleting the app and downloading it again, ugh

You are not holding tickets they are selling them while you are trying to check out. Trash.

Why can’t I book tickets?!
Multiple recent attempts to book tickets via the app have failed. I click on an available seat, and I get a pop-up saying “who’s in seat xyz”. I have to use my laptop, login to my account, and reserve THE SAME SEATS I WAS TRYING TO on the app. Please fix this! Between this and the sudden very large service fee, I can go to a theater closer to my home and save money!!

Will not work on new iOS for Apple phones.
Why so bad
The app doesn’t load. It doesn’t connect my phone to the points and account so I never get the rewards. Forces me back to the website which is also problematic. It’s 2026. We have pictures of Pluto. Figure it out. 👎
Serious issue
Ok so overall, this app is great, but there is a serious issue that is literally preventing me from ordering tickets. If I try to get tickets for an R rated movie after 6 PM, it brings up two text prompts: one to inform you that the movie is rated R, and another that explains the curfew policy. The button to continue to pick seats is beneath these prompts but you can’t scroll down to select it, nor can you even back out of the page. So you’re essentially stuck on this policy page with no way out. Please fix it so I can actually buy tickets online and go to your awesome theaters.

Fix the ticket add feature
I use this app and miss the convenience of being able to add tickets to the Apple Wallet. Since I am paying a rather high convenience fee to pick my seats, I would like for the usage of the app to be, well, Convenient. I don’t think that’s asking too much.
