Am I the problem
Dear Greg , I’m not sure who is in charge of your app but even while my Marcus app is updated it never fails to be the slowest running app I own on my phone , and I have run the app on many different WiFis. The screen will load for five minutes sometimes . The load up is slow and the searches are slow , lots of slowness . All that being said I love Marcus Theatres and my only qualm is with the app . Please am I the problem or is it the app . I would leave five stars but I think three would get more attention and hopefully the problem will get resolved.

Update doesn’t work
Bought tickets on web. They don’t show up in the app. They did before though.
Could be better
As a movie rewards member my points always show 0
I have to log out and back in for it to recognize me being in the rewards program
Also there should be my tickets button on the navigation bar.
Honestly I find it comical that their actual website competes with the app on who can suck more.

Use desktop the app fails all the time
Does not recognize login, create another login that doesn’t work. No consistency - on the app I sometimes put in an email and it sends a code, other times I need my magical reward number. The failure of the app makes me want to go to a different theater altogether.
App and website are very buggy
This is NOT a review of the products and services at the theaters. This review is strictly regarding app and website issues.
I feel like I have to jump through hoops to go to the movies.
Trying to login to your movie rewards through the website is insanely difficult. The website will email you a verification code, then it will not take the code. I had to login through a weird backend way when using the website, and I found that a lot of my points and movies aren’t being tracked properly.
I thought getting the app would rectify things, but it has its own issues. Some tickets simply don’t have seat information listed after purchase. I had to dig through my junk email to verify that I wasn’t going to end up in someone else’s seat. Other tickets have seat numbers, but not that one.
The app is supposed to keep track of movies you’ve seen, but it doesn’t. I can’t seem to find any rhyme or reason to what movies it does keep track of and where it tracks them. I have movies in my purchase history that aren’t in my movies section, movies in my canceled movies that aren’t in my history, and movies in my watch history that aren’t in either. It’s just a mess.
