False Alarm

The siren went off at 1 am!! I’m guessing somebody accidentally activated the alarm or there was some sort of glitch. The app needs to be updated to have a time cutoff so this can’t happen. Additionally, it’s not very user friendly in a drill/real emergency. When the alarm is activated, you open the app and the top of the screen is slider to reactivate the alarm. Many have slid this by mistake and set it off again. Then, when you get to the roll call section, you have to refresh your screen to take roll, but there’s not a select all option.

In updating the app in the future, please consider these things.
1. Out of school hours shut off
2. “I am safe” on the top of the page when you open app, not reactivate the alarm
3. Select all option for roll

In a real emergency, I don’t think this app would be effective.

Can’t log in

Logging in with Clever just sends you to a browser to log in. When it asks to return you to the app, you’re still not logged in.

Horrible

I hope there is never a true emergency where I would have to use this. It doesn’t work consistently. It is too time consuming.

This app will fill you in an emergency

The previous versions of this app worked very well, however, when the app was updated in July 2024 the app began to have problems and a lack of usability. Navigate claimed time and time again that they were working on it, however rosters never synced, and it was not uncommon for there to be an error when starting an emergency. There was an attempt to utilize this app during a swatting situation in which a lockdown was called, the app failed and caused confusion among staff further complicating the situation. Anyone who is considering navigate 360 should take a look at Raptor.

Shamefully un-intuitive to use

We keep getting false alarms because the action items in the app are not at all clear. To the app developers: Action items need VERBS: for example “See details of current alarm” is more meaningful than “Rapid Alarm.” Even worse, in an actual emergency, I would have to click through several steps to log in and take action. Imagine hearing gunshots in the hall and then having to mess around with this app.
