CEO

Getting better on the updates. One past issue is that the app delays reading the history sometimes and you better not move truck until it’s finished and the satellite icon goes from blue to green. Also the unassigned driving events that show 0.0 miles driven, this is a problem because how is it unassigned if you didn’t move the truck , something to do with the delay in reading the history maybe

Me

Worst app EVER use MOTIVE instead
Call them tons to resolve issues they can’t resolve. One issue after the other. Use Motive, I promise it’s better, wish my new employer would switch!

Rarely keeps me logged out

After I submit my log and log off duty, the next day it says I’m still on duty. So at least once a week (usually more) I have to edit my logs. It is very annoying.

Software is frustrating

This thing will log you out a dozen times a day, even if you haven’t touched your phone.
Maddening

Ain’t worth a darn

FAQ

What does the ENCOMPASS® ELD app do?

The app electronically captures hours-of-service duty status information for commercial drivers, replacing traditional paper logbooks. It helps drivers optimize their on-duty and driving hours and reduces the risk of violations by ensuring compliance with ELD mandates.

What are the key features of the ENCOMPASS® ELD app?

Key features include mandate compliance with FMCSA rules, real-time HOS compliance alerts, support for numerous industry and state-specific HOS rulesets, a roadside inspection mode, electronic vehicle inspections (EDVIRs), and mobile messaging capabilities for communication between back office and drivers.

How does the ENCOMPASS® ELD app work?

Hours-of-service and telematics data are captured via a hardline adapter connected to the vehicle's engine diagnostic port. This data is stored in ELD hardware and transmitted via Bluetooth to the app on a driver's smart device. Data is then sent to an online back office portal for auditing and recordkeeping.

Is the ENCOMPASS® ELD app compatible with my device?

The app is designed to work on iPhone® or iPad® devices. It can be used with the J. J. Keller® Compliance Tablet™ or a driver's own smart device, offering flexibility for different users.

What kind of drivers and vehicles does this app support?

The solution works with class 1-8 vehicles and accommodates various driver types, including exempt, non-regulated, and team drivers. It also supports specific use cases like hyrail, personal conveyance, exempt logging, and border crossing.
