Getting better on the updates. One past issue is that the app delays reading the history sometimes and you better not move truck until it’s finished and the satellite icon goes from blue to green. Also the unassigned driving events that show 0.0 miles driven, this is a problem because how is it unassigned if you didn’t move the truck , something to do with the delay in reading the history maybe

Rarely keeps me logged out
After I submit my log and log off duty, the next day it says I’m still on duty. So at least once a week (usually more) I have to edit my logs. It is very annoying.
Software is frustrating
This thing will log you out a dozen times a day, even if you haven’t touched your phone.

This ELD doesn’t allow you to take the shorter end of the sleeper berth break first. You must take a 8 hour break first. This ELD is not compliant with FMCSA new rules. It will not pause your 14 hour clock after taking a 2 hour break.

System or program takes to long to allow changes in status.
Complete garbage
What’s the point of using ELD’s because drivers can’t be trusted to be honest with logs, when you constantly have to edit the ELD logs because this app does whatever it wants whenever. Convenient features: it disregards your logout just I case you’d like to do some CMV driving while you’re at home sleeping. Randomly logs out while you are on the clock actively working just in case you’re actually not and forgot to log out.

App crashes while driving for no apparent reason and no information from JJ KELLER SUPPORT . Customer support is completely worthless, they issue a reference number when you call and then never resolve the problems or call back. Logs certification is hit and miss , for no apparent reason the app will not certify a day or two or three or four periodically. And of course customer support is completely worthless and they could care less and have not fixed this issue either. 👎

Exact time
Using exact time on my app when logging out isn’t working anymore. Everything shows it’s going through fine, but when I check my time on tablet it’s logging me out at that moment instead of in the future. Really frustrating
Horrible device and support
DO NOT USE THIS ELD!!!!! Today alone we have been on the phone 6 times with support. First, we were told they will not help us until the app is updated. Because of issues, they update their app almost weekly. The next 5 times, they were still unable to figure out the issues and had to escalate the ticket. We’ve had to do this previously and it took over two weeks to hear back. We were told they didn’t know what was really going on. In this instance, we were told they would get to the ticket in the order it came in. This should tell you something right there when they have numerous ‘escalated tickets’. Their support team is terrible. You may get one person who knows how to use their system out of 10. I’ve contacted our account rep and again, no help. We have been a customer since ELDs we’re mandated. This last year has been nothing but issue and after issue with each ELD we have. We run over 15 power units so this isn’t just a one off situation. I’ve also suggested that maybe the ELD box is malfunctioning and asked if we could try a new one. They said sure, but that I would have to pay for it.
In the end, I hope you read this review and stay away from them. This ELD is nothing but problems. We will be transitioning to a new one as soon as the devices are shipped to me.

Wait
When coming to a stop, have to wait between 10-27 seconds to go to main screen. Total B.S. ! Have had other issues too.

Since the last update the app crashes more than before. Also stays in the driver mode way to long.
Also even if the truck isn’t moving the app claims it sees movement and won’t let me do anything.
Put it back the way it was. It worked really good before the last update.

Horrible customer service
I switched from android to iOS while sitting still on 34 hour restart and it kicked me to driving with truck not running and sitting still and was told I shouldn’t of been moving when on app that was second time it has kicked me into driving on 34 hour costumer service was no help at all been 4 days and no one ever called me just sent email telling me I was in the wrong when I was sitting still if I could give zero stars I would

Continues to glitch
Can’t certify logs, doesn’t update as it should, doesn’t keep accurate miles my miles are always more than tracked, occasionally logs out randomly but haven’t had this issue for a few months now so assuming that’s fixed.nope it’s not fixed.back to closing out and won’t open up completely keeps closing app can’t even log back in

Why is it that When I’m driving on personal conveyance if I stop at a store or a long light it automatically puts me on duty?? ?? ?? Please fix this issue

Crashes
The app itself is well designed and easily navigated. It’s fairly simple to use and straightforward. However, after two days of continuous use without any problems the application crashes. The app will load and as you are prompted to sign in, the usual notification will appear before shutting down. Once it starts crashing it will continue to do it every time I attempt to open the app until I am forced delete and reinstall. This causes a problem because any logs not submitted are deleted and lost for good. I only have this issue running the app with iOS on my iPhone 12. I first downloaded the app using Google Play on the Galaxy Note 9 and had no problems whatsoever for a year. It was not until I switched to the iPhone 12 that I started hating the Encompass app.
