Slow and obnoxious
Gave this a spin while on vacation abroad. Hard to find the game. Terrible video quality on quality Wi-Fi. Even the commercial break message was illegible. Casting was flaky at best. Felt like a pretty hard waste of $14.
Replay list doesn’t update
This app has gotten very poor. No replays available for any college football now in the last 3 days. Don’t waste your time. Very disappointing

College football 2022
I’ve been long awaiting college football’s new season and now I see that the app (ESPN Player for Europe) is not functioning as it always has. There is no longer a Football Live and upcoming section as there has always been and as there still is for other sports.
I can’t find the best games that I want to see. I can’t find college game day.
Is this a sign of how the app will be from now on? Has there been some changes this year? Will it be this way for college basketball as well?
Or are there updates that need to be made? Or am I supposed to switch to ESPN + for Europe??
Please help!! This is very frustrating!!

Does not deliver
80% of games are fine. I have had several instances where promised NHL games are not available, games are only available in Spanish and after multiple instance and complaints the response from Customer Service is sorry but no refunds. Maybe no problem with other sports, I use primarily for NHL as I live internationally.

Can’t access in my state when I should be able to
SO frustrating. I’m an ESPN+ subscriber, I live in Brooklyn, NY and iPhone app says it doesn’t work in this region, yet I have no issues watching ESPN+ via my Roku on TV. Please fix this ASAP, have the reason I have this subscription is to watch games on-the-go. Such a fundamental issue to fix.

- Video crashes repeatedly when streamed to Apple TV which you have to do as there’s no Apple TV app
- The schedule of live events is rarely ever correctly synced, the replay library leaves much to be desired
- College sports being shown on ESPN2 isn’t always available
- Horrible live play controls (don’t try to rewind or hold your place if you have to go do something)
Not sure why this isn’t comparable to ESPN+

According to the app, it is not available in the United States. There does not appear to be a functional ESPN app for the US as the other app is not in US either.

Subscribed to watch golf while out of the country. Didn’t work as advertised. Never did get to watch any golf... then tried to cancel subscription. Extremely poor cancellation procedure. Tried to cancel in August, still getting billed in November. Had to resort to complaining to PayPal. Junk! Would have given zero stars, but have to have at least one to review.

Not enough games
Only a spattering of games. Your team, especially if in the big ten, will only be on a couple times a year. How hard is it to cut a deal and show all the games? Very frustrating.

The app is a great way for me to stay connected to sports back home. I especially enjoy using the app to watch college football.

I was excited to find this app and download in Singapore and it worked. I just arrived in the Philippines and got the message not available in my area
