Still flawed after all these years

Mystified why ESRI *still* won’t let you add a session to your device’s calendar instead of inside the app. The app still enforces a 1 event per time block rule which is absurd. Any seasoned attendee will know that you always need to identify a preferred presentation and a couple backups because your preferred session may be a
bust or packed like a sardine can. id rather manage my time within my device’s calendar app rather than the Events app.

Eh. Always one step forward, two steps backwards

The app will not add a session to your phone’s calendar (this has been a feature in previous years). Within the app, you cannot add multiple sessions occurring at the same time block- only one session is allowed.

We all know that sometimes sessions don’t end up being what you thought they would be so you want to be prepared to quickly bolt to an alternate or second alternate session. That’s why you would want the ability to save multiple things occurring at the same time.

I’d also like to be able to use the app and access the schedule without the requirement of logging into my UC account. It keeps logging me out and if I didn’t have it written down with me, I wouldn’t be able to log back in.

No content

All I can see is the Esri logo and it tells me “no public events are available”. There is nowhere for me to sign in or do anything.

Useless

There is no place to login. There are some past events listed but my future event is not listed when I search. The only 2 functions are “past events” and a search for “recently viewed,” which is empty. I have been working on my schedule online. My event is in less than 2 weeks.

It didn’t work - and others had the same issue

The app would not take my ArcGIS login credentials. Made it really difficult to connect with all my customers that were in attendance.
