It’s great, I have been having issues with the app with not informing library about books I would like to loan, but that have seem to be all fix now
Brilliant app
Fab app. Does what it’s supposed to do. I’d like the option to have multiple cards on it for the kids but it’s ok as it always.

Like another reviewer I have iOS 12.5.7 on my iPad. The app developers say this app works on iOS 11.0 and above.

Can’t access app on my iPad
Until about a week ago I could access the app ok, now I can’t .
I’m running iOS 12.5.7 which I know is old but you shouldn’t have to upgrade just to use this app

Yay it’s working!
This was one of my most used apps before it stopped updating and showed books on loan that I had returned months before so I deleted it. Just seen it seems to be working 🤞🏼it’s really useful to search and reserve items

Clunky and outdated
Quite simply, this is an app that represents the lack of central/local government funding into public services …
It’s temperamental and prone to crashing. The search options are convoluted and tedious. The overall design and experience is circa 00’s. Basically, it feels like it was created and put together by a class of GCSE IT students, and was then used by the Tories to supplement their education budget.

Ok when it works
Hasnt worked for months. Please fix it, Im remote and rely on it! Was recommended Borrowbox by your mobile library and its also awful :(

The app doesn’t work at all, doesn’t connect to the server, pointless.
Unable to connect to Server
App is useless as not able to connect to Server. Just keeps saying Try Again!

Have been logged out again, unable to log back in, have tried reinstalling, it says unable to connect to server.
Stopped working
The app suddenly stopped to work showing ‘can’t connect to library service’. Thus unusable.
No longer working
This app was brilliant for reserving and renewing books for my children but in the last month has stopped working. It’s says we still have books on loan which we’ve already returned and doesn’t give the status of the reservations made. Please provide an update!
What’s happening?!
This is such a shame as the app was working! You could use it to reserve books and also to re borrow them so you don’t have to go to the library! But it’s not worked for weeks now, it’s showing 3 books that I took back weeks ago and I can’t get much further. Hopefully they can fix it soon as otherwise it was a really helpful app!

Has stopped working
This was a great app for ordering and renewing books up to recently when it has stopped updating and shows books that I have already returned. Please can you fix this? Thank you!

Looks like these problems have been persistent since October?
Staff in the library at least aware of the ongoing issue but really disappointing to see all the recent reviews over the last 4 months all saying the same thing 💔 hope this will be fixed soon!

Hasn’t worked in weeks
I don’t have a physical card and this has been really inconvenient, as well as making it harder to renew (although the librarians are always lovely)
App failure
Downloaded and have been using BorrowBox, it’s a great app.
I decided I’ll download the Library app and make more use of the books on offer too.
Well it wouldn’t let me log in at all, so I deleted it and downloaded it and now it says it can’t connect to the internet. I definitely have internet. Not a great start to using an app for books. Hopefully the app is being worked on and improved and will be working soon.
Giving one star as you have to give something. It doesn’t deserve that really as it doesn’t work.

App not working for weeks
App not working and library staff don’t seem to know what is happening . Staff not very knowledgable can never find books . Please get the app fixed.
