It’s hard to figure out how to get the barcode for shipping to make it cheaper on the seller , but other than that I love using Etsy to sell my craft products
Incredibly dysfunctional, wastes a lot of my time
Every single time I list a new item, the app refuses to allow me to progress through all of the screens. It forces me over and over back to the shipping profiles, even though I have already selected one. The only way I can list anything from my phone is to fill in the first few screens of fields, then save the listing as a draft which I then have to open and complete. This has been going on for months, and Etsy support was very unhelpful. It’s pretty incredible that a simple UI function like this hasn’t been fixed. I could be listing ten times as many items each day if this weren’t happening.

Poor customer service
Not great, going to sell elsewhere
App is nice, support is not.
As long as you share the views of the care team, politically, you are good to go. If you do not, they remove your listings citing it goes against their policy they then can’t cite. Only because it’s actually their personally feelings. They have been this way since creation.
Buried in so many emails
I like the app for selling items, BUT it buries me in emails clutter. UGH!

The way Etsy suspend accounts you really don’t need this app it’s a waste of space on your device
Like the templates, postage tricky
I find the app pretty intuitive on the whole. Easy to upload items and communicate with buyers. My only bugbear is that I work almost entirely off my phone. There is no way to buy postage on the app so I have to log on to my lap top every time and take a photo of the QR code- a real pain which adds so much time and inconvenience.

Very user friendly
I love the new Etsy app because it lets me see my orders, finances, and messages at a glance—especially the finance section. I also love the new features that message me to update my photos or titles.

The Etsy Seller app makes it easy to manage my shop, track orders, update listings, and stay organized. I like how everything is accessible in one place, and the app has been helpful as I grow my business. So far, I’ve had a smooth experience using it.
Useful, but missing basics
The app is useful overall, but it lacks several basic features that professional sellers need every day.
First, when a customer sends a photo, there is no clear way to download the original file or save it to the iPhone Photos gallery. The image viewer has no visible Save, Download, or Share button. I am forced to take a screenshot, crop it, and then work with a lower-quality image. For sellers creating personalized products from customer photos, this is completely impractical. Please add one-tap “Save to Photos” and “Download Original” options that preserve the original resolution and quality, as well as the ability to download multiple images at once.
Second, sent messages cannot be edited, corrected, or retracted. If a message is sent accidentally or contains an error, the seller must send another message explaining that the previous one should be ignored. This makes conversations confusing and looks unprofessional to customers.
Please add a message correction feature that preserves the conversation history. The original message could remain visible but appear crossed out or marked as “corrected,” while the revised message is shown immediately after it. This would maintain transparency while removing incorrect information from the active conversation flow.
Saving original customer images and correcting mistakenly sent messages are not advanced features. They are essential tools that a professional seller app should already provide.

The new update is awful, no option to edit listings
I can’t edit any listings since the new update. The app is not fit for purpose
Saturated & money blind app
I have been a Etsy seller for a month & I have made no more than 1 sale which was also from my relative. I understand it is saturated market & maybe there’s also a chance buyers might not be interested in my products but if I am paying to set up my shop, listings & extra hidden fees. I expect they atleast put my listings on page for customers to see. I completely understand the fact that etsy shop is like business but when I have payed money to a platform I expect better support given since it is not fully dependant on my marketing strategies. Considering this is the first reason why I came to Etsy is because ii could list my product, title it, tag it & Etsy could atleast put it out there to buyers just show it nothing much. I don’t expect they put me up everywhere or promote it to buy. However, when buyers search atleast my product comes up once. I have been greatly disappointed & frustrated as I thought paying etsy fees & extra hidden fees would get me basic services. Not only when I tried to reach support they have said that there is nothing they can do. I had high hopes for Etsy out of all platforms available but I have been gravely failed.

Scam Alot of Fees,
Completely unuseful app to sell. They will cut almost %30 of your money in the name of different fees. They will not support seller at all. Completely disgusting. Imagine you working hard on the plateform and manage to make sales but then think that there’s nothing you are making all profit is going to plateform whom you are working, completely waste of time

Wish we could add sub categories within main categories!!
This update would make things so much easier for sellers and buyers don’t know why it’s not been done already?
Not happy with recent update
Been using this app since it was created and all of a sudden I’m getting notifications for favorites and spam like notifications. If I turn off notifications I won’t get notified when someone purchases from my shop. Leave the ads and those notifications on the buying app.
