Easiest seller platform around
I sell on multiple platforms and Etsy’s seller platform is by far the best and easiest to use!
Love it!
It is pretty easy to use and if you pay attention, you can figure everything out. I did struggle with the shipping and wish it was easier to navigate all the profiles while not losing money but all in all I am very happy with how smoothly it runs, how quickly it is to answer all the questions and how I’ve made money thus far.

Etsy will change their policies to no longer allow the sale of your products then refuse the reimburse your fees

Useless
I have been selling on various platforms for years. I do sell a lot on Etsy so I continue to use it. If you sell something on Etsy you cannot get a shipping label from the app you have to go to the website. What is the point of a seller app if you can’t do something as simple as getting a shipping label. Is shipping the item not a really big part of selling online?

Great App for Managing My Etsy Shop
The Etsy Seller app is very helpful and easy to use. I can easily manage my orders, respond to customer messages, update listings, and keep track of my shop. It makes managing my Etsy business much more convenient. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

There’s only a sign in option and no matter how many times I restart the app or my phone. I can’t create a seller account.

I’m new to this but it’s fun and easy!
Constant Bugs, Unusable
Certain bugs within this app make it unusable on the phone and tablet. I can’t create any listings at the moment because whenever I go to set the price of the item, clicking the done/next button after I input the price leads to a perpetually spinning arrow that doesn’t stop. It just gets stuck. There have been other bugs in the past, but this is the one that’s bothering me recently. I end up having to turn on my PC to do the listing from my computer instead of the app, and that works, but it’s an inconvenience and I wish the app actually worked properly.

Shipping transaction fee/ calculated shipping
The 6.5% shipping transaction fee should be eliminated or a nominal fee of 10-15 cents per label, please address this issue.
Shipping costs have increased well over $6, there should not be a listing priority rule for shipments under $6 anymore, sellers that charge less than $6 are losing money. Carriers continue to aggressively raise costs and etsy does nothing to help with the issue.
Free shipping at $35 is no longer affordable/working, need to be able to adjust price to $40-$45 etc.
Update: we need to be able to set up weights for different sized items for calculated shipping. Not all items weigh the same, and shipping rates are too expensive now. We can’t use calculated shipping on items with different weight variations. For example: A t shirt has 6 different sizes that weigh differently, we need to list different weights for each size but cannot. Please add a weight variation to listings under the variation section, not all items weigh the same.

Three years of hard work gone overnight
I am absolutely devastated by how Etsy has treated me after more than three years of running my shop. I worked incredibly hard to build my business from the ground up, completed nearly 3,000 orders, maintained almost entirely 5-star reviews, and achieved Star Seller status, all while paying thousands of pounds in seller fees. Despite my dedication and positive track record, Etsy permanently suspended my account without ever giving me a temporary suspension or a genuine opportunity to correct the issue. My shop sold squishies and my best seller, mystery boxes, and although some listings were removed because of the wording I had used, I genuinely did not realise I was breaking any rules. Instead of clearly explaining what needed to be changed or allowing me to edit my listings, Etsy chose to permanently close my shop, taking away my entire livelihood overnight. It feels as though years of hard work, loyal customers, and the money I invested into the platform meant nothing. In my experience, Etsy does not provide enough clear guidance to sellers and is far too quick to impose the harshest possible penalty without considering a seller’s history or giving them a fair chance to resolve honest mistakes. I also feel that sellers are not given the same level of support as buyers, despite being the people who keep the marketplace running. Losing my shop has meant losing my full-time income, and the emotional and financial impact has been overwhelming. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Etsy to anyone looking to build a long-term business, as it feels like years of dedication can be erased without warning

Terrible experience - with zero explanation Etsy permanently disabled my shop after 12 years, hundreds of sales, and loads of 5 star reviews. No reason given. Keep in mind they can do this whenever they want and don’t have to explain at all.
Bugs
App is bugged, gets stuck in an infinite loading glitch when trying to add a price on a listing. Happened after the latest update. Hard to get any support to help
