Abandoned app
This app has always been useless. I’ve managed to connect my Evapolar once, by setting up an adhoc WiFi network. And then it never worked again. It’s absolute garbage, hasn’t been updated in four years. When I contacted the company directly for support it took them six months to respond to my email.

It’s been 3 years since the last update and the app has issues. Did you guys forget this exists?

When it’s working properly it’s very useful for keeping cool in hot weather and for me with limited mobility the app control should be a god send. Again when working it is but as we move into the hotter weather it seems like the company servers can’t handle the demand or something because my devices which will have connected fine for months suddenly disappear from the app and if reinstall it then it doesn’t let me log in. Previous times this lasted for several weeks and equally suddenly I can log in and they reappear and work fine. It’s very annoying.

Can’t connect
Instructions in booklet say if device display says OFF it means wifi is ON, tried to pair device to the app but it doesn’t show up on the app, it says pairing was successful.
I tried it the other way with the display showing ON but it did the same thing, said pairing was successful but not showing device on the app.

Total Waste of Money
Cannot connect to the app. Trying to control the device manually is a waste of time. Do not spend the extra money.
It does work
I was put off by the negative reviews so I wanted to write an updated one. I was able to log in and create an account on this app so it does work! It took a while though, so be patient.
Useless
The app is worse than bad. Unlike others, I got my evasmart to connect, but the problem is that it keeps disconnecting from the app and disappearing so I have to pair it again. When the device does show up, the app/controls are non-responsive. The smart controls were a selling point because this was for our kid’s bedroom and we don’t want to have to walk I while they are sleeping. Should have saved the $ and bought the non “smart” version because this ain’t it…

Worthless app
Don’t waste your money on any of their smart products. Can’t connect to them because their app doesn’t work - can’t connect and can’t even sign up for an account. Completely worthless.

Verknüpfte Geräte verschwinden einfach aus der Liste und lassen sich nicht neu verknüpfen. Die App an sich ist sehr träge geworden. Lange Ladezeiten, was vorher nicht der Fall war.

Connessione impossibile tra device e app

Doesn’t let me sign up
Bought an EvaPolar and was so excited to connect to the app for full functionality, the app won’t let me even sign up/sign in! How am I supposed to even try to pair the cooler?

Just what the title says, does an ok job cooling but don’t waste money on the smart version
Connection Difficulties
The product (cooler) itself is great, the app, once connected is pretty good too - simple & effective, but set up was a nightmare, both the written instructions that came with the product & the app instructions were incorrect (& different to each other!) so I winged it, did something different & intuitive by guessing what it might need & got connected by accident by ignoring all instructions. Seriously, fix that, you’d get much better ratings if you just looked at the setup procedure.
