Buyer beware!
I bought event tickets through them and the event did not occur. The organizer did not show up, answer the phone or respond to requests. Eventbrite refused any refund and even told my credit card company they couldn’t reverse charges because it was a “non refundable event.” But it wasn’t an event. It was apparently a scam and Eventbrite collected their share for the non event and left me holding the bag. I will never do business with them again and encourage everyone to be careful. Eventbrite will not vet events nor protect you from ripoffs they promote.

Not option to add events into calendar
Seriously, why there is not option in 26 to add events into calendar? Why I have to still add it manually and especially double the work if I don’t want to download yet another app

Just… so bad
An expo I’m attending decided to use Eventbrite. Here’s the user flow: enter email->get code->enter code->opens webpage(even though I have the app)->enter email on webpage->find tickets(no QR code or add to wallet, just a confirmation number)->check app for tickets->tap tickets->back to webpage…
Confused and Dazed
I want to connect with people that agree or do things similar to myself and have some interests in discussing how to improve… that never happens as I agree to an event that someone else decided by a last minute distraction to do something other than the event they had planned…if there was a set of simple agreements to keep sudden death cancellation from occurring …. It sure would be more warm than sunset porch sharing…. Love will find you, make something, stick with something. Eventually the thing that makes it happen will be more obvious….

They do not verify anything, if I wanted to setup a fake event and steal money from people, Eventbrite will not only enable but assist in the fraudulent activity! I was told point blank by a manager at a venue hosting an Eventbrite “event” that it was a scam and I was robbed. Eventbrite should be shut down and charged criminally

Scammed Through Eventbrite, Platform Did Nothing
Very disappointing. Eventbrite does not appear to properly verify or authenticate event organizers, which allows scammers to operate and trick users who trust the platform. My bank confirmed that an event I paid for was a scam, and even after I reported it, Eventbrite took no action to remove the listing or ban the fraudulent organizer. This puts more people at risk. Users should be very cautious because the platform’s trust and safety process clearly needs improvement.
