Might be nice if you pay, terrible if you don’t
They really need to just make this paid only. They baited me in years ago and have become worse and worse about bombarding you with ads and now videos that take over your entire screen in order to use the app. It is not exactly accurate to call this app free since you will pay for it in annoyance.
Scam after Sale to Bending Spoons
This used to be great, then they sold to bending spoons and I woke up to an email thanking me for my upgrade and a $250 charge I never consented to.

OK, this intro with the music that you cannot stop is annoying. I was in a meeting and it just started playing. I had to close it and open it again.

I’ve had Evernote since about 2013
Never had any issues with it until recently.
The app is becoming more glitchy to the point where I was locked out (supposedly because I did not opt for the annual membership)
I have contacted them a number of times to get back into my account and even pay the ransom, but no luck.
Disappointed. Is the company shutting down or something?
