On second year and it’s good. Growing pains.
The Apple Watch app is messing up again where we have to start the app, it shows a previous reading for an instant then goes blank then we have to close it then restart to see the current reading. It worked fine for a few days after the latest update. Growing pains I guess.
Feature added recently: numerical a1C estimate (GMI). Thanks!
Features still needed:
1- Siri/Google request giving an audible response that works on the phone as well as in Carplay/Android Auto.
2- Watch complication display so users don’t need to press, scroll and tap multiple times to see a reading. It only gives critical low alerts in CarPlay right now; nothing else.
Still liking the E365. Lets get to 5 stars!!
On second year and going great!!
My sister and I are on our second E365 implant and it’s going very well.
Thanks for the quick fix to the watch app recent issue.

One current complaint that began very recently: i have to start then close then start the watch app again to see my glucose reading on the Apple Watch. Please fix.

App
Great so far, but needs more alarm options
Great App, please add ONE thing!
We like it so far but features needed
This review still represents my sister and my opinions on the Eversense 365. We used the Dexcom G7 prior.
We still like the E365 after 7 months. The transmitter charge lasts 2 to 3 days still, but we charge it every day or every other day while showering. We’re both thinking of going back to the Dexcom G7 at the end of the year due to the lack of certain features that we really liked with the Dexcom.
Features much needed:
1) Make it ok to charge transmitter up to 30 minutes. Why limit the charging time to 20 minutes and suggest doing so while showering. Whose entire shower routine takes 20 minutes from the time you put it on the charger to the time you get back to it.
2) Enable the watch app to be a complication on the smart watch face so that it can be readily seen. There’s a watch app, BUT I have to go to the apps list, scroll to the app then touch the app. Can’t do that while driving, for example. Being an app developer I know this doesn’t take much to implement.
3) Enable a shortcut with a user customizable phrase so that Siri or Google can provide glucose levels audibly. This must also work in CarPlay or Android Auto. This is AWESOME on the Dexcom. I’m driving and simply say “Siri, glucose level” and I get the reading including the trend. I miss that A LOT.
4) Give users an A1c estimate. Dexcom does this very well. It was never off by more than 0.4 for both my sister and me. As an app developer and college math/statistics faculty member I know you can do this. You provide charts of percent in or out of range so the A1c can be estimated. That was a big motivator for us and much needed too. Dexcom’s system is so much more motivating. My average A1c has increased, we think, due to the lack of these features.
And then there’s nowhere we can get any info about what Eversense features that are coming. If these features are still missing after the next five months, we are definitely going back to Dexcom.

Great app
1. The placement guide pops up a message in the middle of trying to place it asking to continue or go to my glucose, interrupting the placement process. Just get rid of that question and if you can keep the screen open until the user clicks to close it.
2. Add complications to the Lock Screen and the watch face would be a major improvement. If possible allow the watch to directly read the data and display your blood glucose without having to have your phone with you.
3. Add either time of the last reading or how long since the last reading with the glucose value on the top of the screen.
4. Add average glucose, GMI and glucose variability in the phone app would make it perfect.
Great Product! Everything I wanted as a Type 1 on MDI!
It has all the information I need, & when i sleep the notifications only hit me if I’m hypo.
The notifications are also much more customizable than other CGMs i’ve used in the past.
One small feedback is I wish we could change the Y axis on My Glucose.
Thank you for taking the time to design this in a thoughtful way!
Great app
My only problem is I wish it had a complication for the Apple Watch so it could be displayed on the watch face.
We like it so far but features needed
We love how the system works. We actually only have to charge the transmitter every 2 to 3 days. Gets to around 24 to 35% after 2 days. Much prefer the app to Dexcom’s. Easier to use and clearer to read.
Features much needed:
1) Make it ok to charge transmitter up to 30 minutes. We can’t charge while showering as suggested. I know most people take more than 20 minutes to get in the shower, shower and then get dry. Especially us older users.
2) Enable the watch app to be a complication on the smart watch face so that it can be readily seen. There’s a watch app, BUT I have to go to the apps list, scroll to the app then touch the app. Can’t do that while driving, for example.
3) Enable a shortcut with a user customizable phrase so that Siri or Google can provide glucose levels audibly. This must also work in CarPlay or Android Auto. This is AWESOME on the Dexcom. That was a big motivator for us and much needed too.
Again, great system though that we’re enjoying. Charge time, watch face complication, voice request/audible response and A1c estimate - need these. Thanks.

Works but needs polish
The UI, however, needs some more thought put into it.
Unlike almost every other system I’ve used (Freestyle Libre/Libre2, Dexcom G6/G7), this app almost has a fetish for making the users scroll through numbers to enter a calibration or adjust any other setting using numbers. This is a very frustrating experience that could be easily solved by allowing for DIRECT NUMBER ENTRY like every other app out there.
Secondarily, the app alert settings for sound selection are limited to the app sounds from IOS from several years ago. Most of them are almost cheerful, and sound like an incoming call. I can’t believe the devs wouldn’t bundle their own “Stuff’s going down, yo!” alert sound that sounds like an actual alarm. Or allow us to set any of our custom alert sounds to be the alert. This is a quality of life thing that would add a lot of polish to the application that would make it feel less like an afterthought.
Also, no screen widget to get my sugar at-a-glance.
Finally, there needs to be Siri integration for Shortcuts or similar actions, it is one of the biggest features I’m missing switching over from Dexcom not being able to ask what my glucose is via voice command. For vision impaired users (which tends to happen in the T1 and T2DM diabetic communities) this would be a huge quality of life improvement.
Sound Is Messed Up
Good but not Great
Thoughts:
1. When calibrating, or inputting numbers in general, the rolling number wheel is not the best way, or fastest way, to input data. Specially for those of us with fat fingers.
2. ALL of your delays are too short. Your little window that pops up when doing sensor placement to ask if we are still doing placement pops up way too soon. Specially when you are brand new to the process. Calibration has also disappeared on me while in the middle of the process.
3. I second or third the request for a widget. Home Screen and Lock Screen would be awesome.
4. Finally, it would be nice not to have to always close the message window when switching back to the app. It’s been running in the background and sending notifications I think the two windows that pop up every single time are repetitive.
Great at almost everything
Missing Features
Good app, but need more control/ options for Y axis ( glucose range) in the graph
Thanks,
Ravi
