Best pump
I’m loving the pump. The app has obvious things I had asked Dexcom for like the last updated time on the widget.
Some things I’d like to see:
A function to add short notes which would be printed on daily reports. This would be good for noting things such as the infusion set came out, you were sick, you had a steroid injection, etc.
an “emergency contact” that gets an automated phone call if your blood sugar is dangerously low and you don’t respond to the app in X minutes. I live alone and would like someone to be notified, but I don’t want them to have access to any of my data. I would get nagged non stop.

The sounds are ear piercing, stay away
I have all alerts disabled on my phone but then the pump itself starts making noises (which you can’t control) and it’s every 12.5 seconds(I timed it) and the shrillest horrible sound. They must have never had real people test this who have jobs or who ever drive a car. My blood pressure is likely up about 30 mm Hg due to how angry I get when the pump is terrorizing me.
-this is my second time writing this review as I must’ve used too foul of language in the first review. I still feel just as angry, I just toned it down so other people can be warned away or this dim witted company can change the sound. They allegedly already updated the pump once to deal with the noises but fixed nothing.
-besides the sounds the pump is similar to the tandem X2 but a bit lighter and uses changeable batteries instead of the pump being rechargeable. The other problem is it is fragile and I am on my second twiist pump in two months and the cheap plastic clip broke a while ago so I have to keep it in my pocket.

Allow users to change the alarm
The fire alarm alert sucks. It’s always sucked and continues to suck. It sucks coming from the twiist pump and it equally sucks from the phone. It scares my dogs and my kids. I turned off critical alerts and all alerts from the app just because it’s so bad.
Let users choose their own alert for different instances- high glucose can have a chime, lower glucose a different setting but for every darn alert to be the dang fire alarm… really ??? That’s just bad design and I bet most users just turn off notifications. Choice is good so please give users a choice.

League of its own
I’ve used 2 other pump systems over the last 20 years. One tubed and one tubeless. Each required me to “lie” to my pump to get a chance at control. Twiist is the opposite. The algorithm has allowed me to move from an avg A1C of 7 down to nearly 6.0! I only have to enter meal bolus or exercise periods into the app. Not 10-12 times daily as with previous pumps. Add to this Apple Watch control, adjustable alarm volume, and predictive glucose trending and the Twiist system, for me, is truly head and shoulders above other systems.

Many problems.
Massive problem with blocked line alerts coming through with every single one of the infusion sites I’ve used. The app then takes FOREVER to reload the functionality so I’m sat there like a moron refreshing the page 20 times in a row so I can be able to eat my lunch without going to 250. Infuriating that there isn’t a timeline for a new infusion set that actually works or any support on how to use the Cleo without constantly getting blocked lines. The only support they provide is replacements which doesn’t help the problem of not being able to dose insulin EVERY SINGLE TIME I put an infusion set on.
