Used to be great

I loved this prior to the new version of iOS but lately it’s been stopping and closing. This definitely needs to be fixed asap

App is stuck in the past

While the whole system is pretty good, the app is stuck so far in the past and so basic its disappointing. No integrations with any third party app like Sugarmate, nightscout, etc. And while it does integrate with Tidepool via Apple Health there is a 3 hour delay of values to apple heallth. Why is there no realtime values to apple health? I’d like to ask Siri my blood sugar while I’m driving in CarPlay but the three hour delay is dumb. Please fix these issues. And why no option to put a live widget on home or lock screen?

Product Perfection, App Less than

The Eversense CGM is superior to any other similar product in this category; however the Application must be open 24/7 for full functionality. This is perplexing and functionally flawed. Background app refresh should handle the process; but overall the details and product quality overcome these seemingly obvious flaws in functionality.

Deliberately stops recording after missed calibration

I’ve used several CGM products and was excited about Eversense, I agree with all the Pros given. However, there is one thing I wish I knew before committing. The twice daily finger stick calibrations are annoying and they don’t just end after 21 days, any time a calibration is outside a threshold it goes from once a day to twice a day again. The thing which is unacceptable is that if you miss the four hour window to calibrate (even in the middle of the night) it stops recording your level and doesn’t start recording again until you complete a calibration. I’m fine with a disclaimer that the value shouldn’t be used for making treatment decisions until it is calibrated but don’t completely shut down when you know it is still working, albeit less accurate!

Great sensors but ok app

I have tried many CGM devices and their apps. While eversense have the best results and accuracy (due to continuous syncing with regular glucose monitor) but they all seems to lack on the software side. All these apps are not user friendly and lack good design . It seems they don’t really have full time developers dedicated to the app improvement and can tell by the release cycle.

As for my wish list for Eversense:
-Improve your watch version . Make the reading as big font as possible. That’s what users care about.
-The mobile app UI is clunky and doesn’t flow. Especially when you dismiss the alert while doing sensor replacement
- Hire good UI people and don’t just rely on contracting the development. You killed the best glucose sensor in the industry with terrible app (just as the rest of your peers).

Having said that, you’re my favorite so far. I will continue to buy your devices .
