Used to be great
I loved this prior to the new version of iOS but lately it’s been stopping and closing. This definitely needs to be fixed asap
App is stuck in the past
While the whole system is pretty good, the app is stuck so far in the past and so basic its disappointing. No integrations with any third party app like Sugarmate, nightscout, etc. And while it does integrate with Tidepool via Apple Health there is a 3 hour delay of values to apple heallth. Why is there no realtime values to apple health? I’d like to ask Siri my blood sugar while I’m driving in CarPlay but the three hour delay is dumb. Please fix these issues. And why no option to put a live widget on home or lock screen?

Product Perfection, App Less than
The Eversense CGM is superior to any other similar product in this category; however the Application must be open 24/7 for full functionality. This is perplexing and functionally flawed. Background app refresh should handle the process; but overall the details and product quality overcome these seemingly obvious flaws in functionality.

Deliberately stops recording after missed calibration
I’ve used several CGM products and was excited about Eversense, I agree with all the Pros given. However, there is one thing I wish I knew before committing. The twice daily finger stick calibrations are annoying and they don’t just end after 21 days, any time a calibration is outside a threshold it goes from once a day to twice a day again. The thing which is unacceptable is that if you miss the four hour window to calibrate (even in the middle of the night) it stops recording your level and doesn’t start recording again until you complete a calibration. I’m fine with a disclaimer that the value shouldn’t be used for making treatment decisions until it is calibrated but don’t completely shut down when you know it is still working, albeit less accurate!

Great sensors but ok app
I have tried many CGM devices and their apps. While eversense have the best results and accuracy (due to continuous syncing with regular glucose monitor) but they all seems to lack on the software side. All these apps are not user friendly and lack good design . It seems they don’t really have full time developers dedicated to the app improvement and can tell by the release cycle.
As for my wish list for Eversense:
-Improve your watch version . Make the reading as big font as possible. That’s what users care about.
-The mobile app UI is clunky and doesn’t flow. Especially when you dismiss the alert while doing sensor replacement
- Hire good UI people and don’t just rely on contracting the development. You killed the best glucose sensor in the industry with terrible app (just as the rest of your peers).
Having said that, you’re my favorite so far. I will continue to buy your devices .

Great app, needs improvement
I love that the app shows me what my BGL is doing as I sleep and exercise. I’d love it even more if the design and feel of the app were a little updated. For such an incredible tool, the design looks like Windows 2000. Additionally, the fact that there is no background app refresh capability forces me to keep the app open at all times. Not great if I’m low on battery and want to preserve power.

Get moving please
This app was a good start in 2020. It feels like very little effort has gone into it since then. The same pesky interactions that look like things they were going to come back to fix are still present multiple years later. For example if I get a calibration alert and then any other alert, I have to decline all of the alerts which makes the calibration screen go away. This same interaction is a real waste of time. Then the scroll wheel to select the calibration is the wrong mechanism for that interaction. I just need to type in 2 or 3 numbers. Give me a keyboard so I can punch them in. When you scroll on an iPhone Max, you’re going to activate iOS reachability which is going to disrupt the process. Sometimes you fat finger the submit text and the screen will go away and you’ll have to do the calibration from the start because it resets.
I haven’t even mentioned the terrible data integration which prevents you from using really awesome third party apps like Sugarmate. And makes for poor integration with Apple Health.
There’s just no excuse after multiple years of having these problems that they should continue to exist. This app needs a real top to bottom review of its interactions and data integration to make it better than a 2 star app at this point. There’s not a single new feature or capability in this app for multiple years.
Stop standing still folks. There’s still work to do here.

Amazing
It’s an amazing service that has changed my life. No complaints. Thank you so much!
Latest iOS bug?
The main screen message at top banner displayed “sensor replacement” and then went away on its own and displayed “Use BG meter for treatment decisions”. There is history in the logs for replacement displaying. I have latest version of iOS and app.
iOS 14 compatibility?
I would like to understand when this will be compatible with iOS 14 as soon that update will be forced on my work phone and I won’t be able to use this for critical tracking for blood sugar levels. These updates with major software changes should be planned way ahead of time.
LIFE CHANGING APP and CGM
Very user friendly and easy to use.
Update the app
This app needs to be updated ASAP, it has crashed countless times.
Needs Watch Complication
I love the system and the freedom it allows for. There it one specific thing that would hands-down make it perfect and that is an Apple Watch complication. Speaking as a UX professional, you should essentially just have to look at your watch, just as you would check the time, and see your BG level. Currently, you have click the scroll wheel and then find the app, which can come off as rude in meetings.

It’s a good start.
This app is an essential part necessary for use with the Eversense CGM. End users are anxious to see what the new update will bring. I’ll be hoping for greater accuracy, shorter learning windows, and being able to adjust the Y-axis value on the graph. Not everyone’s glucose spikes to 400 and I’d like to be able to customize those numbers to 300, 200, etc.

Drains battery!
The new App is draining my battery! Can you please fix the glitch.
Inaccurate many times and adhesive is not sufficient
Placement can be a pain even with the placement guide. If you aren’t super fast the transmitter will turn off before you get it placed.
The “tape” used to adhere the transmitter is not sufficient. The devise can come off at night, the tape peals off your skin. Might be sufficient for a little old lady who stays in doors all day, not for anyone with a remotely active life style.
Device can also be vey inaccurate. Not unusual to see 30 point errors. I can’t believe they got FDA approval for treatment or dosing decisions. It needs work before I would rely solely on it.

Helpful but needs some work
I enjoy this app and sensor however since the last update there has been an issue with CarPlay. If I have my phone connected to my stereo but I’m using a non CarPlay source such as the radio tuner, every 5 minutes my phone switches to CarPlay but there is no audio playing and I have to switch back to the radio. I’ve been able to conclude it is the Eversense app as it stopped switching sources once I closed the app. That’s not very helpful for a continuous glucose monitor. Please fix this issue, it is occurring even if no alert from the app is present.

Doesn’t give audible alerts unless you’re using your phone.
The app is great except it not giving audible alerts when the phone is locked. So when I’m sleeping the vibration from the transmitter alone doesn’t always wake me up if I start to go low because I can’t hear the alerts going off. When I’m using my phone the alerts will make sound but not when it’s locked.

Overall, love.. however
Overall, I do love this app. That being said, it kills my battery. I would give 5 stars if it didn’t massacre the poor battery.
Easy to use
Easy to use and follow all the instructions!
