If you’re from the USA, do not use this charging station.
Terrible experience from beginning to end. They will not send the verification code to a U.S. phone number, whether you scan the QR code or download and try to register through the Bilkraft app.
I followed every instruction, tried multiple times, checked my phone number and country code, requested the text again, and still received absolutely nothing. Vipps does not support U.S. numbers either, so international travelers are left with no reliable way to pay or begin charging.
I wasted a huge amount of time moving between chargers, plugging and unplugging the car, scanning different QR codes, downloading the app, and waiting for a verification message that never arrived. A charging station should simply let customers plug in and pay with a normal credit card or Apple Pay. It should not require a Scandinavian payment account, a special RFID card, or an app that cannot even send an SMS to an American phone.
This completely ruined my day. I hate this charging station—it is the worst charging experience I have ever had. Avoid Eviny and Bilkraft if you are visiting from the United States. One star only because zero stars is not an option.

Best electric car charging
Eviny provided the most reliable working fast charging for us during our trip in Norway. Highly recommended!
Completely useless for tourists
This app acts like it recognizes foreign phone numbers but will have an error every time. It’s impossible to start a charger without a phone number as well. This hostile design makes it impossible to charge an electric vehicle as a tourist. Stick with Tesla chargers, as they actually want you to be able to use them.

Doesn’t work if you don’t have a Norwegian number. Incredibly frustrating experience just trying to charge a vehicle. What’s wrong with taking payment by card like everywhere else?

Mit 0,67 ct/kWh nicht mehr attraktiv
Ich hatte vor der letzten Preiserhöhung immer geschaut, wenn ich Langstrecke fahre, ob ich an einer eviny Station laden kann. Daher auch extra die App installiert. Aber mit der Preiserhöhung von 0,55 ct/kWh (davor waren es mal 0,49 ct/kWh) ist eviny leider nicht mehr besonders attraktiv. Da kann ich dann auch bei EnBW oder EWE Go laden.

Efficient
This is a great app to use if you’re traveling around Norway as there are many chargers. If you’re coming from another country , you have to first call this company using the telephone number on the machine. They will register your phone number and provide you a 4 digit access code. From there , you’ll be self sufficient. ( I learned the hard way :) )

Impossible to register. Impossible to use one-time. App those not send sms to register and there is no other option

Chargers work well and a lot available at reasonable distances on most routes
App will not work without a log-in
SMS code verification does not work with the app, I continuously get an error code. Without an SMS verification code, the app will not allow you to charge. Disappointing, and yet another reason why charging through scanning a credit card should always be the go-to options on charging stations.
Einfach & Praktisch
Sehr leicht zu bedienen und einzurichten. Es ist auch auf Anhieb zu erkennen welche Ladestationen funktionieren (blau) und welche nicht (grau). Preise werden eindeutig dargestellt in Kombination mit der jeweiligen Ladegschwindigkeit und welche verfügbar sind.
Inconvenient for Tourists
App very inconvenient for tourists. You must register your phone number to activate the charge. Which does not seem necessary. And when you try and register your number it errors out. We tried three different stations and could not charge. Needs a better process for temporary users.

terrible app, never sends the sms to confirm, even trying different phone numbers. charging station is useless without the app, can’t easily pay with a card, makes download this app that doesn’t work…
Bad experience
The app is a garbage, you can’t register with a non-norwegian phone number. There were times we could not charge the car, because the app was not connecting to any data that I had.
Last week somebody used my account and card data to charge their car with a chip, and bilkraft do not/cannot reach the person and give me back my money. They said I accepted the term for auto-charge then it is my responsibility.
