It just crashes

Does not work, keeps crashing

iOS app crashing

The app crashes when it connects to the ODB 2 via Bluetooth. I’m on an ID.4.

The app works great on my android device but for some reason not on iOS.

Thank you to the developer for making the app free.

Still waiting on update…

Not sure what is holding up the update that was supposed to be released in December 2021.

I was under the impression it had already been submitted for review.

Cannot use the app until it’s updated and my vehicle (VW ID.4 is added).

Android version was updated but iOS release has not been updated in several years. Please update the iOS release so that it is up to date with what’s being offered on Android.

Will update this review once the app is updated.

ODB2 menu still not accessible

As many have mentioned in reviews , the pull down menu to add a new ODB2 device is still messed up where it isn’t visible .

Chevy Bolt Not Fully Supported

I am very hopeful this product will continue to improve and soon fully support the Chevy Bolt and all American EV’s. (Thus, the 4 star rating.). It is understandable, being a European company the Bolt was not high on the list in the beginning.

Also, a great deal of credit goes to the app creator who created the app at age 19.

Please continue your good work. Your product is greatly needed. Many of us are rooting for your success.

Sorry Charlie

EVnotify does not work with the Vw ID 4 not listed on vehicle list

Broken UI

Can't add OBD. It's a shame the features this app provides is easily worth money but the developer has abandoned it. I hope another option comes along to make traveling in a EV easier.

OBD Dongle setup problems

Love the idea, but something is wrong with the drop down menu to choose an OBD II dongle. Drop down menu is so ā€œthinā€ that I can not see any devices to choose, so unable to connect to car. Any chance developers will update iOS software? Please help. Thanks!

Can’t add OBD2 device

Phone sees it, but selector box in the app is blank/glitchy.

Can’t use it

Can’t add ODD2 reader. When I try, the page scrolls away. If I click on the arrow next to OBD2 Reader, a very narrow box that has some blue writing in it (BRIEFLY then goes blank) appears but can’t be clicked on.

Can’t add ODB2 Device

I downloaded this because it was able to push data to A Better Route Planner but I haven’t been able to get it to let me add the odb2 dongle. I can see it in the Bluetooth settings, however whenever I try to add the dongle to the app by tapping on the link it just moves me to the top of the app’s settings page and doesn’t attempt to do anything else. It was free, so I guess you get what you pay for.

Can’t connect OBD2 device

App does not appear to support BLE devices. WTH! No OBD2 devices show up in the drop menu and clicking the link for device ā€œNot listed? Pair a new deviceā€ does nothing.

Works for ioniq ev

This app works great for our car. It basically is a substitute alternative to the official hyundai blue link app for the ioniq ev. it doesn’t have all the same features but it has the remote charging monitoring which we use a lot. Plus this app is free whereas the other is quite expensive and available only in USA and not in our country.

To get the most out of it you need to have a OBD2 bluetooth dongle and two phones- both must have 4g internet connection. we install the android version on a spare phone and leave it in the car when charging. the android phone gets the car charging status from the OBD dongle via bluetooth and relays this info to my iphone via 4G (running the iphone version of the same app). This way when we are away from our car we can know if the charging has completed or was interrupted. It also tells u what is the charger speed and estimated time of completion.

I appreciate the effort of the developer and have sent a token amount to support his work even though he has never asked.
