Garbage
Have to deal with annoying piece of garbage everyday. Doesn’t work half the time.
Since summer 2025 update it's buggy
Push notifications from home or lock screens are broken. If you open the app before the push from your PC login, you never get a notification on the phone app. You must close and reopen the app to trigger the tap to approve button. Update broke more than it fixed.
Version 5.0
I don’t know what they did to this application but since they updated it; it is terrible. It doesn’t even notify me anymore. And it takes 10 seconds for approvals to pop up within the app itself. They ruined it.
The world does not need more authenticator apps
Just use google authenticator
Not a well thought-out MFA app.
This is a very smooth, slim (aka. bare-bones) app whose security and recovery options don’t feel well thought-out.
The push notifications are quick, and it shows a map of where the auth request is coming from, which is nice.
However, when transferring phones or reinstalling, the only way to regain your access to your account is via security questions. Unfortunately, more than half of these have answers that would be available via public record (at least in the US)! In addition, these security questions cannot be changed at any point after initially setting them up, at least not that I can find through the app.
Both of these shortcomings together make this an app that I wouldn’t trust for a business or enterprise, since it would needlessly increase ticket volume for IT.
Compared to other well-tested, push-based services and apps out there (Microsoft Authenticator, Authy, Duo, to name just a few), this app falls VERY short.

Best Authenticator App
Compared to other authenticator apps, Evo definitely stands out. It’s super easy to use, works great and I can rename tokens, which helps when having to store multiple codes for different apps or logins. Highly recommend!
