Continue to be the worst
Reporting back that these chargers and the app are still truly awful. Maps are non-functional, QR code scanning just produces a spinning wheel of death. Even the tap to pay only works sometimes. It shouldn’t be this hard.

beware of making requests for rfid card. i ended up getting charged 4 times becuae of the slow connection. they make you deposit $20

This is the worst app I think I have ever used. Loading times are longer than an unskippable ad, it makes you deposit money in a minimum of $20, and it takes so freaking long to do all this. Why can’t you just quickly tap to pay like other gas or electric stations?? This is why people hate electric car infrastructure. My grandma would’ve filled her gas car 3 times before I even made it halfway thru the steps required to function this goofy software. Absolutely ridiculous and a complete hassle.

Won’t let me create account and charge my rental EV because I don’t have an US phone number

Need to go your profile to add an address, then have to go to a different page to manually add card info, gives an incorrect error that address is wrong, deletes your card info and you have to do it all again, for it not to work. Everything else sucks. Drove 10 minutes to a supercharge faster than it was to try to use this app.

Baffling Obtuse UI
You have to reload balances and Apple Pay is not an option. I had to enter my address to load the card and when I did it said “System Error Kindly Send To Admin” and then loaded the card anyway I guess?
Possibly the most poorly thought out thing I’ve ever seen
Anyone involved in this company, the app and the charger should be deeply ashamed of what they’ve done. Possibly the most infuriating and insultingly useless thing I’ve ever soon.

This is the most unhelpful and terrible app. Took my money but never actually got my car charging. Took $30 from me. As others say it’s a scam
Skip App & Company
Pulled up to their level 2 charger outside Hampton Inn. Using charger’s QR code downloaded this app. On the App’s map it couldn’t find the charger number! Used QR again and it realized it was theirs. I have a hybrid and wanted ~$5. They want a minimum of $20 in your account. I’m not likely to ever use them again. Tried to add the $20 but it tells you to add a card. Won’t just automatically take you to set it up. Try to add on another screen, but it won’t add because the profile is missing the address. Again, doesn’t transfer you to that screen. I gave up because the reviews were bad and this process and cost were ridiculous.

I added money to my wallet, followed all the steps to charge plugged it up and press start not even 20 seconds later it said charge was complete and it did not charge anything on my car. once I went to try and do it again none of the chargers worked at all. It is a waste of money and time.
User unfriendly app. $30 lost into EVOLVE account.
EVOLVE charged my credit card $30. Cable connected and failed to start charging on multiple occasions. No customer service although I’m sure there will be a response to this evaluation. The only accurate statement of “Plug, Charge, Go!” is the plug and the charge on my credit card.

This company needs to get brought up on fraud and theft charges.

They have a horrible customer service system that doesn’t answer until you’ve called five or six times, they can’t even figure out which charging station I was at with my charging ID in the screenshot and all of the other information sent to them via their “support helpline”.
When I sent them all of the information, they informed me that the charger I was at did not exist, and that I had no account and therefore they could not help me or refund any of the money that they stole.

They have $20 of my money in an allusive wallet that can't be used emailed several times to their support and even called the number.. buyer beware but I will not give up I'm gonna report the to consumer fraud
