They great but having issues opening them
Good… but
I like the concept. I’ve been using this for two days, and I have one complaint, some of the sound bites are hard to understand. It’ll sound like they say a word that I cannot find in the words given, so I’ll guess, and usually wrong. Using “Slow” mode doesn’t always help, because it tends to add digital artifacting in the process of slowing it down. They need to pick better quality audio. (I’m going to try it later tonight with headphones to see if that helps.)

They make it very hard to cancel this subscription. You cannot cancel in the app and they make you funnel contact with them through a 3rd party. They also did not send me a renewal reminder and charged me anyway. Avoid.
More fun that others
However. It lost a star due to the length of each congratulatory break after five correct answers and halfway through every lesson. The latter is ridiculously long and both are completely unnecessary. If the developers believe their users need a metaphorical trophy every 30 seconds they are wrong. We don’t have time for this. We’ve got a language to learn and a life to live. Let us just get on with it.

LOVE THIS APP!!
The variety offered on EWA to learn is tremendous. I REALLY like the different levels of books on MANY different topics. Listening, seeing a translation if I need to and being able to single out any word for its meaning and pronunciation at any time is a beautiful feature. Learning a language with this app is an absolute pleasure.

I use EWA everyday.
I like the daily vocabulary lessons. But the library is priceless! So enjoyable and so helpful. You can touch an unfamiliar word with the option of putting it into your vocabulary lessons; you can click on an icon for the translation of the paragraph. The books are labeled with the CEFR level, so you can pick your books wisely. It has multiple other features as well, like visiting the doctor, visiting the pharmacy, etc. . If this type of learning appeals to you, I highly recommend EWA.

No way to cancel subscription
Are you scam or something there is no way to cancel it. I checked everything on the app no way, it has been two days and you charged me twice. PLEASE cancel my subscription and I will erase the account and app
Not worth it
This app wasn’t as advanced as I had hoped. The reading function is nice but the games and lessons are pretty useless. I also feel if I pay for a premium subscription then I shouldn’t have to deal with ads and annoying pop ups. Overall kind of disappointing. I didn’t have the same issues with canceling my subscription that others reported, but have yet to hear back about my 14-day guaranteed refund from support…

This language learning program is fun and repetitive which is really good for learning!
I don’t trust it
I just downloaded it and would have paid money for the subscription if I had any trust it’s accurate. There is a quiz you first have to take to determine your language level so far. I am intermediate level and the quiz literally has incorrect answers. For example, there was a video in which a woman, Rachel, walks in saying “Hola Ross” and you have to pick a translation. Well, “Hello Ross” is not one of the choices. The closest answer I picked was “long time no see”. This is the stupidest thing in the world because that’s not what she said. Can’t learn a language this way.

Pésimo servicio al cliente.
Son una copia de Duolingo con diálogos. Nada nuevo y poco útil para aprender el idioma. Pésimo servicio al cliente. No he podido hacer efectiva la garantía de devolución. Mal servicio al cliente. Muuuuuy mala experiencia ya que me cargaron nuevamente y periodo más de suscripción, a pesar que solicité la anularan.

Poor Customer Support
Within 30 minutes of paying and trying to use this app to enhance my Spanish learning, I realized this program is not for me. I immediately withdrew from the course and requested a refund. Their policy is if you cancel within 14 days you will get a refund. They have ignored my request. I’m 6 email exchanges into this process. Title of my email is: cancel and refund. My last response from EWA was: “we don’t understand. Do you want to cancel or get a refund.” I’ve now turned all emails, policy statement, and invoice over to my bank to dispute the charge. Just be aware before you subscribe. You may not get a refund and you’re signing up for auto-renewal.

Beginner Spanish
I like that the lesson is a combination of listening, speaking, writing, and reading.
Horrible
After getting involved via their instagram add they kept sending me lower prices to sign up which I eventually did. Big mistake! As soon as you have paid for the Pro version they try to upsell you a more expensive version. I could never get the app to sinc between my two devices. After about a week the app no longer recognized that I had paid for a subscription and was kicked out to the free version…leaning the word hola. All my progress had been lost. Client service is nonexistent and trying to claim the 14 day money back guarantee is a nightmare.! I’m still trying….
