What's New in Exercise
1.2
August 19, 2026
- Added spoken workout cues that announce the current exercise, rest countdowns, and what's coming up next. Turn them on from the toolbar while logging on iPhone, or from the new controls menu on Apple Watch. Each device has its own setting. - Long-press the Apple Watch workout screen for a controls menu with elapsed time, pause/resume, spoken cues, and save. - Selecting an exercise now fills in your settings from the last time you did it, including equipment, weight, sets, and reps. - Update a workout from a logged session. Open a log that started from a workout, choose Update Workout in the menu, and the workout takes on the exercises, target weights, reps, and timers from that session. Its name, notes, and schedule stay as they were. - Circuits in the log's Edit screen now show each round separately, so you can reorder exercises within one specific round instead of the whole circuit at once. Rounds you've already completed are protected from being changed by accident.
