Best EMR for dermatology without a doubt.
Good, but a bit cumbersome
The difference between add text and edit text seems unnecessary.
I also wish there was an option for editing the text that doesn’t make it italicized and unable to transfer over to subsequent notes if needed. Why are there different ways to edit, for example, morphology but one is italic and one is not? Doesn’t seem productive.
I would like if we’re able to change a bunch of procedures at once. Example, my MA uses a prepopulated template for destruction of milia. If I didn’t use numbing, but it was already in the prepopulated template, I need to go back into every individual lesion and remove anesthesia. It’s extremely time consuming.
I also wish we could toggle between free texting an rx sig and having a structured input (I know Athena has this option) it makes it less confusing when sending to the pharmacy.
Athena also has the ability for insurance estimate of each script. Is it possible to add this to EzDerm? Very helpful.

Too slow
This app is great as a specialized app for derm but it’s always lagging. I wait for the chart to load, I wait for the medication to load, I wait for the note to be signed off. It’s understandable if it’s an occasional thing but when you sign off +35 notes a day, it adds up.
Pls add multi photo select
Great app. Came back 2 years later to say it would be perfect if you could add multiple photos into a patient chart instead of one single photo at a time.
EZ Derm
In the world of EHRs, EZDerm is a great derm specific option. I like most its user specific customization of treatment plans. The company is responsive to feedback and is competitively priced.
