Buggy
Had to reinstall it three times to get it to show me a list of locations. Then it wouldn’t allow me to authorise a card. Had to go to another company.
Transactions are in Euros
Note that even if you set up payments on this app, using a sterling credit or debit card and are charging in Northern Ireland, your transaction will be in Euros which may cost extra. Not sure that the app highlights this at all…
Not good…….
Am one night in a hotel and they use the easygo system. Instructions on charger state to download app and follow instructions. There are no instructions in the app. It’s completely unintuitive. It also states its PAYG - it is not. You have to prepay a fixed amount and any unused credit is lost to easygo if you have no intention of using them again. Utterly useless app. Agree with other 1 star reviews - this hasnt been tested or used by the developers. Avoid if you can - i had little choice

App does not work
Surprised that this app is so bad… given the profile of the company and the amount of infrastructure contract's they seem to be winning from county Councils across Ireland . It is so poorly designed and unreliable. I’ve wasted hours trying to get car to charge over the space of a week long Holliday back in Ireland. So sporadic in connecting and starting charging I downloaded alternative E-car connect (ESB) and it worked right away. If I’d stuck with EasyGo I’d have been left stranded with wife and kids ! No joke..

App does not work
While traveling in Ireland, we needed to charge our car and came across one of EasyGos chargers. Several of us in our group tried to sign up for an account but we are still awaiting the email confirmation several days later. Needless to say, we went somewhere else for charging.
Absolute joke of an app
Poorly built likely on the cheap like their charging infra. Broken modals, no proper error handling, clearly not tested, their in-app “support” is absolutely shocking. You’d almost think it was a conspiracy to make EVs look bad.
Definitely look for an alternative charging provider if you can because you’ll probably just end up wasting your time and potentially money if you top up.

Keeps crashing!!!!!
Fix app please.
Utterly baffling
Managed to get charging eventually but both the app and charger screen made no sense. Asked to scan QR code with the app but couldn’t see option to do so. Scanning with camera didn’t work.
Handy App
All in all a great app but the help desk message system leaves a lot to be desired as you can't reply to their response's, no send button 🙄, also if using the iPad version it crashes if you try to add a picture to the message.
A Scotsman in Ireland
Driving in another country is always daunting and having an EV raised anxiety even higher. But I had a good experience with the EasyGO people and they got me set up with an account and fob before I left Scotland.
The first time I charged I used the fob not the app but charging stopped unexpectedly. I couldn’t work out why till I used the app - I was out of credit and was able to top up really quickly.
Map is also really useful for planning a trip especially as it shows other network’s points. That’s a real boon.
Indispensable if you’re planning to drive round Ireland in an EV.
