No options to get longer than 3 seconds recording????

I was able to record and import this into prisma 3-D, but the animated 3-D model is broken:(

both of them work with faceit on blender you can just pay for that addon instead of paying 70$ here...
Awesome app for 4+ years
I’ve been using this app for 4 years and it’s been consistently excellent. I run a small animation studio, I teach with this app, and I love supporting small businesses as well. This app is so useful because it records FBXs & WAVs from voice actors without any fuss, making it easy for a technical animator to work with the data. Niels consistently responds to questions promptly and even supported my students in the MIT MITES program last year. Long live Face Cap!!

Ripoff for what it does
Im pretty sure the “great” reviews are spam. The performance of the app is low quality and the price is outrageous for it. 69.99 for permanent unlock or 11.99 a month. There’s other apps that are less or free and perform better.
Dependable and functional
I’ve been using Facecap for a few years and it continues to deliver. Recently I started using custom avatars that can be uploaded to the app. This is a game changer as my actors get realtime feedback on the character they are animating.

I paid for this. But when I export the files after a recording, the animation is not saved. ASCII files aren’t even accepted by blender lol.
When I try to connect with a 3d app on my Pc, there is no transfer of data. Help me or send a refund please.

Must-have app for 3D artists
A mighty app! It’s super stable, reliable and no nonsense, the best I’ve used for live and recorded facial motion capture. I’m a blender user and I swear by it.

Low quality
I have tried this app and found the only thing that it seems todo well is head movement and eye movement capture. It barely responds to eyebrow movements. The documentation is absolutely bogus, or almost non existent. It doesn’t even tell you what features are being unlocked, can one record more than 3 seconds when purchasing? It just doesn’t tell you. What exactly are you getting when you purchase it? Not really good.

Export doesn’t work anymore
Pressing Export says it exports a file, but doesn’t tell you where the file goes. It says to use the Files app to find it, but it’s nowhere to be found.
Problem on iPhone 14 pro max
There’s a problem on my iPhone 14 pro max. Some time the face model just can’t move, I reinstalled many times but this bug is still there. And I try to use it on my iPad Pro , it was totally find in the pass, but this time has same problem too. I guess is the newest version of the iOS have some compatibility problem. This is really bothering me. I hope could fix it soon.

Easy to use, great results!
While producing a 3d animated comedy, we use this fantastic app in a variety of ways with excellent results. Our voiceover artists capture their facial performance while they record their audio, providing accurate lip sync. We then record the facial expressions of our mocap artists, giving us synchronized expressions and eye movements. The app is simple to use and produces usable, reliable files that are easy to manage both locally and even working with non technical creatives in remote locations.

Does not work
The app just shows a grey background. When switching apps ne back to Face Cap i can see the 3D face for a split second then it’s gone again. Bummer, I wanted to buy the full version for a customer project, but certainly not if it doesn't even work!

I use this app to import captures into Blender and it works great! I recently had an issue where my face wasn’t being recognized and contacted the app’s support and was given a tip within a day that helped me resolve the issue.
