I was looking through expenses and realized in MULTIPLE months I was charged for the subscription FOUR TIMES. Almost every month I was charged at least double since August 2025. Fighting with Apple about it now and they’ve started refunds.
SCAM
Signed up for a 7 day free trial, cancelled it a few days later (have proof) and Facetune still charged me almost a week later. Beware and read other reviews of the same issue!
Upsell nag
Every screen, every action the entire app is one flow to extract money. There is no independent value with out paying and that is not made clear in the app description at all.
Removal of features clothing photo swap
Back about 3 weeks ago the app has a ai clothing swap from photo located next to the reference tab called reference to load a photo worked for about a week and then this reference tab next to custom was removed, only one iPad had this feature other iPads never had it, now it is completely gone, I sent tech support a email, never got a reply, I am a premium subscriber, I do not like this feature removed without notice, I will be cancelling my subscription, app used to be good now it is useless and notice price increases starting.

Change the makeup settings back
I used to be able to edit the eyeshadow and lipstick easily, and now it seemingly runs it through AI. It makes the results look terrible and blurry, much like the hair color feature. These settings are now completely unusable, even though the setting was perfectly fine previously. Please change it back to just adding the makeup on top similarly to the eyelashes and blush, rather than running the photo through AI for even worse results.
