As Great apps for family history. Really user friendly. They send me helps for my research that I’d never find on my own. All for free. I use Ancestry, also. But I find koi that FamilySearch is best for finding the names and dates of my ancestors. I’d recommend it for people of all ages, for individuals to use alone, & for family projects!

The updates have made the app harder to use
Within the last month, the updates to this app have tremendously complicated the purpose of the app. I can’t touch the screen to copy someone’s name. When I am in my temple files and look at someone’s information, the app sends me back to the top of my list instead of back to where I last was located on the list. The chat function shuts down the app. Please revert to previous versions, this is making the Lord’s work very difficult and it seems that the programmers have done this on purpose.
UPDATE: The changes have not been. Continues to make working on it difficult.
2nd UPDATE: Now when you try to find a birthplace or location of death, the page locks up. How convenient!! Fire the Programmers!!!!!

Easy and Helpful
Very simple to use and search. Users can add their own research and documentation as they find it, as well as creating a a very clear and helpful family tree that can be easily referenced.
