Invite for temple session
I don’t like that the link to confirm an invitation to confirm a session goes to Family Tree/Search. I finally got the button to go firm the appointment and I get an error message. Please let the link go back to the church website for me/us to confirm as a member if a group.

The resource of Family Search provided excellent help in assisting me to create a tribute for high school classmates who had passed away since our 50th reunion.

Anyone can use it
Finding family names to take to the temple can be found so easily through this app. They’ve designed it so well that is the most user friendly app I’ve ever used. I will never stop using family tree!
Really bad for African American people
For all of my grandparents they just added them to random white families with the same last name. For ALL of my ancestors, they just assigned them to random white families, it’s like the researchers didn’t even try. According to this site, I’m descended from a British knight living in Wales! Really disappointed with this site. I like all of the documents they have available but other than that, I wouldn’t trust this organization to have your correct family information. It was very obvious that the information they assigned to my family was incorrect, but no one cared to check at all before posting but I guess Anyone can post anything at all…

Productive use of knowledge and technology!
I love browsing and researching my family history on the Family Search app. As I learn about my heritage I feel closer to their spirit(s) around me as my angels, I love them more and want to honor them.
Not to mention, it’s FUN! It’s the best way to spend downtime (or “up” time haha), rather than scrolling endlessly on social media or games.
This app has gotten better and better every year. The developers and engineers behind it are doing g a wonderful job at making it intuitive and easy to you. I’m happy to see charitable donations used in such useful and productive way!
