Merci.

The best calendar app, hands-down!
I had no idea all of the functionality that Fantastical offers. I initially intended to use it as a compliment to my Apple Calendar, but it has proven to be a replacement for that. It has such a beautiful and easy to navigate UI. It makes me love adding things to the calendar. The email to calendar is especially helpful. If I had any wish for something more, it would be for Fantastical to come out with a Web app. I know there is an app for use on a laptop, but my job does not allow me to download it. So I take my iPad to work and use it if I need to schedule any personal appointments. Thank you thank you for making a wonderful app and I highly recommend it to anyone and everyone!

Best Calendar!!!
This has got to be the best calendar app available. I wish it had the capability to print out a monthly calendar.
It’s gotten so buggy
I’ve used Fantastical since it was first released years and years ago. The past few years, it seems to forget I added events and show the draft of them when I open the app later, even though the event is already saved to my calendar. The back button on the Location selector screen doesn’t work half the time. It’ll randomly put extra alerts into events that I didn’t choose.
All this is a bummer, because Apple’s calendar app is also terrible. But Fantastical used to be good. I don’t know if they lost the QA team or what, but it’s declined significantly in recent years.

Not impressed
It took several tries before I was able to download the app on my MacBook Air. Once I downloaded it, it kept asking me to buy a subscription for $79 a year before I could even begin using any of the features.. I just wanted to create a simple calendar and the Help section was sorry but no help. Would not recommend this product to the average user. I will look for another Calendar app now.

Way to defraud your clients!
Still can’t believe I paid the FULL price for this app, only for them to switch to a monthly subscription app and disqualify all early adopters from enjoying all future upgrades and key features. The Apple calendar now does more than this app. Really disappointed.
On the way out
Apples own native calendar is fast dissolving Fantastic Cals USPs. Apples doesn’t require a hefty (and pointless subscription).
Lost my Data
I just lost all my data on the update of this app. I’m not sure how to get it back. I also do not like the update at all. I loved this app before, but now I will be looking for another one.
Best Calendar Ever
What a great calendar! So easy to use. Easy to change. Works easily across all my devices. I cannot imagine using another calendar!
No drag and drop?
Looks good but lacks basic functionality like drag and drop
Some “premium” features aren’t worth it/have work arounds
The features that Fantastical wants you to pay for are a bit ridiculous. Pay to add a custom color to the calendar? To add an emoji? Seriously guys?! There are ways to do these things already if you use your head for more than a hat rack. 😏🤫😆Why should I pay for premium? 🤨
Looks like……
Most of the people don’t want to pay a premium. All said “Fantastical is a great app. I get it, it’s like trying to get a date in high school and you can’t afford to feed her lunch. you got hurt so you blame the beauty queen loll be happy dude you still get free lunch. BTY if you like it, support it if you can. It’s a great app :)

Great calendar made poor with subscription model
Great UI and great widgets. Constantly nags to upgrade to an insanely priced subscription tier.
Best ever
This calendar is the best I have ever used, so easy, This would be the only calendar I know of that does every thing that I need
So easy to to put events, reminders into and for also looking up info
Would not use any other calendar

Great app locked behind paywall
Great app, works well. Shame that it’s full potential is locked behind an expensive £60 per year (with a discount) pay wall. Think I’ll start looking else where.
Awesome Calendar - The Best I’ve seen
I’ve been using Fantastical for more than five years and I’m still discovering new features. It’s rock solid and does wonderful file recovery, and reconciliation on multiple devices. I literally have no complaints. Well done guys!

The greatest calendar
Simply the best, and wherever I think they can't get better they rollout sensible new features I really need.
Crashes when tapping alerts over many versions.
June 2026 - tapping iOS push notifications from the lock screen STILL CRASH FANTASTICAL, years later.
Crashes when tapping alerts over many, many versions.
The failed promise of subscription software. The app is as buggy as ever. I want to love it but the software quality and especially the awful “Natural language recommendations” which only gets in the way of entering data.
