Error Screen

Very hard to add co parent. Constantly getting error screen.

Does not work

The app doesn’t show messages and there’s a glitch or something in their system. I’ve contacted support numerous times and no response. I’m seeing the message pop up in notifications, but when I open the app- I can’t see anything. I also can’t send any messages when I know the other parent is sending messages - very frustrating. Looking for a new app similar to AppClose and have yet to find a free working app to communicate effectively. I’ve tried our family wizard, talking parents and Fayr. All no good.

Then most important part doesn’t work well

For me, I needed an app for expenses the most. This was advertised as court-approved and I saw we could add in receipts for records. What a relief! However when you attempt to download the list of expenses, it will send a large spreadsheet, with no attached receipt/photos, poor categories, and basically something that I would have to look through individually and create a new spreadsheet if I wanted something to actually turn into the courts. This app feels like someone’s good idea that was just never finished. If you developers could make a better spreadsheet download for the expenses, (and where did the receipts go?!!!) it would gain 2+ more stars! Looking at My Family Wizard, but my ex will probably never agree to another app at this point.

Does not load

I really wanted to like this app. The page setup/ look or it is great but the thing will not load at all, I’ve reached out to support many times via webpage because even submitting a support ticket through the app doesn’t even work. Coparenting can be frustrating enough at times so when you are messaging something important and you can’t even get to the messaging after several minutes/reloads, it’s extremely frustrating. It also only timestamps when a message is read and not when it’s sent so that’s a disadvantage too

Excellent app

The Fayr app is an excellent tool for co-parents looking to collaborate effectively and stay organized. It offers an intuitive platform to plan and implement events, track activities, and keep both parents on the same page when it comes to their children’s schedules.

One of the standout features is how seamlessly it allows parents to coordinate and manage upcoming activities. From school events to extracurriculars, everything is in one place, making it easy to ensure nothing falls through the cracks. The shared calendar feature is particularly helpful, as it keeps everyone informed and eliminates the need for constant back-and-forth communication.

Fayr also provides space for notes and updates, which makes it easier to track details like deadlines, responsibilities, and even last-minute changes. This functionality fosters better communication and helps parents work as a team to prioritize their children’s needs.

Overall, Fayr is a fantastic resource for co-parents striving to create a smooth and efficient partnership. It’s user-friendly, well-designed, and makes the often-complicated process of co-parenting much simpler. Highly recommended!

Good app

This app is pretty good. The only suggestion I’d make is to be able to color coordinate the circles for parenting time on the calendar to my visual preference. My brain works opposite to how it’s set up - and is not a “know at a glance, without having to think” set-up.

If this would change, I’d almost say it’s better than Our Family Wizard. Especially for the price.

Lost everything

Literally lost everything from our parenting conversations for the last 2 years worst experience after paying $10 a month this app just crashed and I’ve emailed the company serval times over the last year and never received a response

Worst App I have Ever Encountered

I am giving two stars because the calendar was easy to use. I could create a schedule day by day much more easily than other apps, which is why I bought it. After ten months of no issues, and logging daily parenting time, it suddenly crashed out of nowhere and I lost all of my data. Now it’s not even recognizing that I have an account. Beyond furious. I needed that data for my court case and now I have to reconstruct it in a different calendar. Whomever made this app, please fix this screw up.

Disappointed

Having to deal with a narcissist co-parent is hard so I thought this would be a good idea but it won’t let me send a share link any other way.

App can’t be used

Terrible Un-Fair App

App does not provide real-time notifications for new chat comments. Makes app useless for parents whose ex has blocked phone calls, texts and emails as I’m sure many irrational exes do for no good reason. You cannot new line in vault notes or this review box for that matter to separate note subjects. Overall, definitely not worth the subscription price.

Not convenient/No notifications

I enjoy the app because it allows for clear event communication. Easy to use as far as entering events/expenses into the app. However, editing is terrible. 1. It’s unlike a regular calendar, where if you have a series of events (parenting time every other weekend, kids practice every Monday, etc) you can’t edit the series, you have to EDIT EACH EVENT. We switched parenting time/days when the new school year started and we have to edit every single entry instead of the series, you can’t cancel the series. 2. You can’t have overlapping “events”. I have in the calendar all of the school breaks, so I can’t put it her camps/activities during the same time because it gives me an error that there is already an event at that time, but there isn’t. The system must only recognize the times and that it is a special event. It has been helpful for the most part, but as we are progressing and our kids are getting older, it’s beginning to be a pain to use. I will continue to use until I find a better solution only because I don’t want to have to update again.

Great concept, poor app

It’s a great concept. But the app randomly changes dates and times. You spend more time correcting dates and times than you do anything else and it’s soooo irritating.

Continued Issues

The app has not been loading my messages so I uninstalled it and reinstalled it and now it won’t let me into my account at all. This is the only form of communication I have with my ex-husband and there are important issues that need to be addressed right now about our kids and the issues the app is experiencing, and has been for days now, are making it impossible to work through! Do not use this app! Find a better one!!!

Not easy to use, helpful for calendar, no notifications

Have tried to get notifications to show up on my phone (like they would for a text or FB messenger, etc) to no avail. There are tons of notices that show up on the app but won’t go away. Little quirks and details that don’t seem to be getting better. Going to look around for a different coparenting app.

Not useful if more than one kid

Cannot log parenting time for each child separately

Loading Errors

I keep getting this error where it won’t load the chat. Even when i redownload it.

The best.

Horrible App

Super glitchy and constantly freezes. Can’t change or alter a day if someone else scheduled something. Customer service took 30 days to email back about a question. Would not recommend to anyone.

Terrible! Don’t purchase

The support computers send standard answers to questions that do not help. Our app has not worked for over 8 months!
The notifications do not work.
Biggest mistake & made our communications worse. Thanks for nothing

App works but does not provide any kind of notifications.

App developer has emailed me back on 1/25/21, to let me know that it’s a known issue and they are working to fix it. I’ve had the app for one month and notifications have never worked. Using this app has proven to be more of an inconvenience than helpful. Any time send a message in the chat or add anything to the calendar I then have to reach out to the other parent via phone/text to tell them to check the app.
