Very concerning experience with Federa
We requested a refund after not winning an auction in January 2026. Over 5months later, refund is still pending.
We’ve been told everything: “wire sent,” “trace requested,” “1–2 days,” and now “technical issues.” Meanwhile, the refund still shows as “Pending Approval.”
Federa also repeatedly claims the funds are held in a segregated escrow account but has failed to provide proof despite multiple requests.
At this point, the lack of transparency and constant delays are extremely concerning. I would strongly advise caution before sending funds through this platform.

Afraid to use this app.
I love the deal but afraid to use this app after reading and researching about refund issues.

Be very careful with this company; they do not refund deposited funds. I requested my refund on Jan,11 2026, and to this day, I still haven't received the money. I don't know what else to do—it amounts to $21,000.00—and they won't respond; I only receive automated replies.

I asked the AI assistant if I could make offers on properties without depositing money first and it told me yes. However when you go to make offer it does require you to deposit money first.. I have the cash to buy, but do not feel comfortable depositing into this App given all the bad reviews. I saw a home in my area I would like to make an offer on but cannot get around the deposit issue.

This feels very much like a scam! I signed up because I buy houses through online auctions, and it popped up on an add as a popular platform. It had a lot of the same homes and info that auction.com and some county websites have on properties so I thought it was legit. I wanted to bid on some properties so I put $8000 in for the deposit. Didn’t win any of the properties, so I requested my deposit back. It said in the app it should only take a few days, in some cases up to 30 days. It’s now been well over 30 days and still shows “pending approval.” The online Ai assistant is anything but helpful.
I will be taking next steps to get this resolved but do not under any circumstances put any deposit money into this app.

This site is completely a scam! The auctions don’t end when they say they are going to end. And when you put money on deposit, they hold it hostage and will not return it any timely manner.

I wish I could give negative stars do not ever give your money to this fake app. I’ve contacted Zillow, BBB; the FTC, Attorney General’s, DBPR, the police, lawyers, etc. And finally got my refund back over three months later where their term stayed up to 30 days. I contacted them nearly every day without ever getting a hold of anyone at the company, they lied to the BBB twice saying it was sent and then fell silent to them too. It was a complete nightmare. I lost hundreds of dollars I would’ve otherwise accrued in interest. Artin Afsharjavan is a skim artist. I feel sorry for the people who don’t have the time to harass them like I had to stay far far away. They also made sure to include a class action waiver in their terms otherwise they would have been shut down own long long ago.

I used this app after following instructions on Redfin and Zillow for a home I wanted to bid on. They require a deposit and even after my bid was the highest, the screen displayed make an offer. I was first told the buyer rejected the offer. For another bid I won I was informed the secret reserve wasn’t met. I requested a refund to my account and was told it would take 30 days. They are holding customers deposits, and marketing homes that aren’t currently for sale/auction.

Apple needs to remove Federa from the App Store. Do not deposit any money through the app. You will not get it back. Look at their reviews on the Better Business Bureau website.

Still waiting on my $5k deposit to be refunded. I put funds in to bid on properties, I was the high bidder on one of them but they kept extending the time. Finally, nearly half hour after it was set to end, someone finally came and bid over me and I wasn’t about to play a game. I understand extending an auction if people are bidding, but nobody else was bidding. I immediately requested a refund of my deposit and it’s been nearly a month. They say it could take up to 30 days to get your refund, but other people say they’ve been waiting much longer. If I don’t get my refund by the 30 day mark, I will be filing charges with the FTC
