About
Feel works on your own from the first day. If you want, you can pair with one other person later, and only one.
Feel is a quiet way to say how you are doing when the words are not there. Open it, move three wheels, and send.
How a check-in works
Three wheels: happiness, confidence, and calm, each from one to ten. Add a short note or a few feeling words if you want. Send all three together. It takes about fifteen seconds.
Once a check-in is sent, it stays as it was. You have five minutes to add to the note or the feelings, and then the entry is settled. Nothing gets rewritten later to look better than it was.
When you are paired
Your partner sees your latest check-in, and you see theirs. A gentle push lets them know something new has arrived. There is no read receipt, no nudge you can send, and no way to see whether someone has written today. Pairing is by username and a friend request, and either of you can end it.
Looking back
Your own week and month, a simple heatmap of the days, and short observations drawn from your own entries. Observations stay under a sentence, appear at most three times a day, and only begin once you have sent a few check-ins.
Privacy
Your check-ins are encrypted in transit and at rest, and access is limited to the two accounts in your pair. There are no ads, no public profiles, no feed, no follower counts, and no way for strangers to find you.
Nothing to keep up
No count of days in a row, nothing to earn, and nothing lost by skipping a day. Feel asks for about fifteen seconds, when you feel like it.
If a note suggests you are having a hard time, Feel quietly offers crisis support lines. Feel is not therapy, not a medical device, and not a journal. If you need help, please talk to a person.
