Useless

Can’t even connect to the kettle. Not serious at all

Works fine but so much potential

No brew now option from the app, can’t tell if the schedule is going to run without error without looking at the actual coffee maker.
This app has a lot of potential but leaves so much to be desired.

Dumb

Why? You can’t start it from the profile screen? Or anywhere in the app??? I was trying to think of an analogy for this stupidity but literally couldn’t think of anything as dumb. Just dumb. And a coffee maker this amazing and you ruin it with something this dumb????? Wow. Just wow. Shameless stupidity by the devs of this app.

Where’s an update?

Turns off my scheduled brews constantly. Which is basically the whole point of the app. So it’s pretty useless software.

Works but needs some love

Schedule seems to only work if you turn it on the day before. Wish it just had a “Brew Now” feature, I could see myself using that function over a scheduled brew.

Sucks

App is terrible. Locks up all the time. Keeps needing to be reinstalled

Confusing instructions….

I just purchased a new Stagg EKG Kettle and the instructions only direct you to “update the Kettle with Fellow app”. Well I downloaded the app and after multiple attempts to get it working and trying to figure out why the kettle wouldn’t connect, you learn through Google that the Kettle doesn’t work with the Fellow app. Instead you have to download a separate app called “EKG Updater”. For how good Fellow’s branding and products are I would assume a QR code, better instructions in the wrong app and the instruction manual, and a single app experience would be something they would strive for.

Fellow’s hardware is great! Their software is just “fine”

Fellow product hardware is some of the best, most intentional product design out there in the coffee space. Their software gets the job done, and looks like they’ve finally—after years of owning an Aiden—started fixing some of the worst, most annoying bugs in the software. And for that, I’m grateful!

One request, it’d be amazing if I could add notes to my profiles (like special grind settings or other little extra details). And if those could be stored locally, or via iCloud rather than on fellows servers that’d be great.

Total garbage

Why on earth do we need an app to make coffee? Only in SF would they ruin the entire experience by creating a ridiculously complex coffeemaker that you can’t even use properly because the app refuses to link to the coffee maker & the manual controls are terrible.

Disabled useful hardware feature in latest update

Fix your lousy hardware not firmware, don't disable detection of which shower setting is set, that's one of the last useful sensors you have on this thing.

Useless

Won’t even connect to my kettle. No value at all

App doesn’t work

App won’t send password reset instructions. Useless! And very frustrating!

Poorly vibe coded

Decent design, but ai slop

Troubleshooting still no app link

Even with troubleshooting, over multiple days, I have not been able to get the kettle connected to the fellow app. Very disappointing and frustrating to purchase and item and not be able to use some features as offered in the app.

Great coffeemaker, lousy app

The machine makes a great cup of coffee. But the app seems designed to show off to their friends in the coffee industry how cool they are, not to add wireless functionality to the product that, ya know, consumers are buying. What the heck are “drops” and why are they the centerpiece of this app? Why isn’t there a brew now button? It’s not the app, but the menu functionality on the machine is also in need of some more thought, to put the things average consumers use at the top.

Won’t connect

It finds the coffee maker quickly, never connects.

Doesnt connect

Simply does not connect to the kettle. Device is on, i tried every button and combination and it does not pair with the app.

Won’t connect

Keeps saying my WiFi password is wrong- and it took hours just to get to that point. Horrible- I’m mad I paid so much money for an app that is perfected.

Needs improvement

Difficult/impossible to connect to coffee machine (After many tries, I now just use my husband’s phone to use the app). Also needs a “brew now” button!

So much potential

Hail Fellow, what gives? We need updates! Funny names for the Aiden are one thing but you don’t use it on the event notification. Why not? Don’t you want us to have more than one? Even better, let us tie the event to shortcuts. I’d love to trigger a meme generator to it and notify my office mates. While I wouldn’t use it very often, the scheduling feature doesn’t seem to work at all.
