App Limitations
App is so limited that it is only good for checking balances. Obvious the developers do not utilize the feature, as it neither follows the website functionality and is essentially worthless to trade on.

Used to be great but logo is not good lately. Stop doing faceID. Not a fan of that.

Garbage app won't let me change phone numbers. doesn’t let you link a bank account to the fidelity account to transfer funds
They added AI so it no longer works
I’ve been a Fidelity customer for 27 years, and I have recommended them hardly too many people because I have never had an issue with the app the website or them in person. That changed today when I went in and tried to close out one of my old investment accounts that no longer has any stock in it. The close account dialogue, which I’ve used successfully before, has been replaced with a Stupid AI chat bot. It made me go through five steps and then told me it couldn’t close the account. This is absolutely a giant step backwards for this app. I can no longer use the app and must now go in to an office to do my transactions because they’re garbage AI Chatbot is completely broken. I eagerly await the collapse of this AI bubble when we stop shoving broken, idiotic chat bots into every possible app.

Discovering Fidelity All Over Again
I’ve had accounts with Fidelity for decades, but only recently began to fully appreciate just how comprehensive and well-designed their services really are.
As I’ve started exploring more of what Fidelity offers, I’ve been genuinely impressed — from investing and cash management to their credit card and the many useful features available throughout the app.
I’m now using both the Fidelity Rewards credit card and Cash Management Account, and the experience has been excellent. In fact, I’m impressed enough that I’m seriously considering making Fidelity my primary financial hub for everyday banking as well as investing.
After decades as a customer, it’s rather remarkable to feel like I’m just discovering how much Fidelity has to offer. Five stars from me.

User Experience is horrible
Updating my review after several months and it’s still the worst brokerage app by far due to bugs and complicated log in and trading. I am forced into Fidelity due to IRA reasons and cannot wait to exit to Robinhood or even Sofi has a better UX. Fidelity sole purpose of for employer IRA/401K and is not meant for retail trading.

Need OLDER version of APP
Guys….not everyone has the latest device and able to download newest updates. That said, am OLDER APP VERSION is necessary for customers with iOS 16.7 we want ACCESS to our account too!

Horrible onboarding
Fidelity struggles with basic ACH setup. Input routing number, bank acct number, receive trial deposits. THEN, they tell you to go to your bank and set up ACH to transfer funds. Why am I at Fidelity?

Bring back the old display under position
This is a great app, but whoever keeps designing the views is really going a little bit too retro. Now there’s different ways to look at positions when the best way was the simplest way. I like to see the stock or mutual fund. I like to see whether it went up or down and the amount and then be able to swipe left and look at all the other stuff. Now you have grey blank spaces that don’t do anything, and we get an overall value of the fund without seeing what happened on a daily basis. Great, now go back to how it was and stop trying to make it look fancier because you’re ruining the experience. And was one of the best apps I ever had.
