Amazing Customer Service
I would absolutely recommend this app to anyone. I have used it a bunch in the past, it makes grocery shopping so much easier when you’re shopping with a goal in mind. I am not currently in that stage of my life anymore, so I thought I had canceled my Fig+ but hadn’t. I contacted customer service thinking it would be a long shot but they replied and refunded me right away!

A Lifesaver
We have kids with different allergies, some of them severe. This app has been a lifesaver—sometimes literally! A quick scan tells us if an item off the shelf is likely to cause problems. We love the fact that you can set up different profiles for different people/allergies.
Just remember: even if the item scans green, double check the ingredients list yourself, especially if your allergy is severe. The app is pretty accurate, but it always pays to double check.

Scammy!! DON’T DO TRIAL!!
Just a heads up, don’t sign up for the free trial because even if you cancel it before the seven days they will continue to try and swipe the 70$ from your bank account!
I was thankfully able to block the daily attempts from this company trying to swindle 70$ from me but unfortunately even with EMAILING said company, I have NOT found a solution to end the constant harassment of their app trying to charge me daily.
Normally you would assume if a FREE trial has been prompted to end, that it would end that day and no charges to be made.
That was not the case here, and in fact it said that it wouldn’t “officially” end until next year.
I refuse to pay and don’t appreciate that canceling doesn’t cancel it.
I’d love to hear back from my email and have a solution presented, I’m tired of the daily attempted charges.
Writing this review was my last resort.

AMAZING!!!
This app is AMAZING for finding safe foods for my dietary restrictions! This makes grocery shopping so much easier by being able to quickly scan an item and see all the ingredients! 10/10 worth it!!

This company is a scam, they make it super hard to cancel so they can charge that 69.99 subscription fee. I cancelled and they still billed me and it says my subscription cancels a year later so now I’m having to wait for a response from their support team through email. Imagine taking someone’s money then not having any other contact information and tell people you’ll get back to them in a few days. You all took $70 out of my account! I want my refund ASAP!!!!!!

7 Day trial is bs
The app never lets you properly use the trial period to see if it works. It’s constantly blocks you until you sign up or pay. Just let us use it. The people that need this will buy it.
Scam - no way to cancel
I signed up for a trial period, but found that the app was nothing I couldn’t easily do for myself. I was just charged over $60 for a renewal fee and have tried to cancel through my Apple apps but there is no record of it and now have no way to cancel.
No dark mode is an accessibility issue
The lack of dark mode is unacceptable. Otherwise it’s good at what it does.

This app has been great helping me navigate my food restrictions. Super easy to use and has a large amount of products already catalogued. Definitely recommend for those that have dietary restrictions or just want to know more about the products we are using!

They charged me for the annual fee of $70 instead of $3.99 a month. Will not refund.
can’t cancel subscription
i literally can’t cancel my subscription. there’s not even an option. it’s either “update payment method” or “don’t cancel subscription”. every link i’ve gone to where it advertises i can just easily cancel my subscription from the link, the link takes me to the update payment method or don’t cancel screen. this app is very clearly scam. i should have known just based on the fact that the subscription is 70$ yearly instead of paying 5/6$ a month. i’m so glad i used a card that doesn’t have any money on it or you guys would literally be stealing my money by not letting me cancel it. i would actually likely pay the subscription if it was monthly instead of yearly as nobody is just going to drop 70$ on an app that’s essentially pointless. I’m very disappointed and regret ever even downloading this

I was diagnosed with celiac within the last few months, and this app has been immensely helpful in finding safe foods. I was even lucky enough to win a drawing for 6 free months of Fig+! I can’t recommend this app enough it has certainly given me more peace of mind at the grocery store and the ability to get expand my diet again to new foods while still remaining gluten free

Canceled and still charged
How can you still take out money when I had canceled my subscription right off the bat because this app did not fit my needs?
Still charged me after cancellation
I did the free trial, then deleted the app AND selected “cancel subscription”- but was charged anyway.
