Only app to track symptoms to find trigger

The first time I used this app was several years ago. My face would go beet red and I didn’t know the cause. This app told me it correlated with taking my B vitamin supplement. I then learned that what was happening was called a Niacin Flush. I’ve used the app on and off since then. It makes entering there data as easy as it could be. Yes, it is still hard to enter data. But it’s worth the effort.

It’s a good start!

This program is very useful for tracking health related habits. I’ve been using it for several years with some success. It could be that I don’t understand how to use it better, but I think one improvement I would like to see is a way to pare down for personal use the huge number of nearly identical food items.
It must be difficult for the program to analyze the food you’re eating when you think you’re adding the same one time after time, when it’s actually a copy, slightly different from a previous choice. Other than that, find it very handy other things, especially a record of symptoms or other habits…

Thank you for your review. It helps us to know where things could be improved, and we’ll certainly take your feedback about the food items listings into account as we continue developing the app. Kind regards, mySymptoms Support Team

Horrendous interaction patterns

I’ve just started using this app and the UX is so poor I keep deleting actions and getting stuck in loops - please get a UX designer involved to fix this app, conceptually it’s good but it’s so difficult to adopt because of the clunky interface and bizarre non-standard interaction patterns. Also missing basic geographic features like time zones!

Great Help

My symptoms has helped me narrow down my food allergies and sensitivities! Thank you!

Looking good so far

I have tried Cara Care and Bowelle, both of which are too simple to be useful to me. This looks promising. It already has a lot of ingredients, supplements and meds that I use and I can add my own. It remembers frequently used items so the app becomes quicker to use as time goes by. I’m looking forward to seeing its analytics, once I have entered a week’s data. Am on a 7-day free trial and no idea yet what a subscription is going to cost!
