First spatial computing app on iPhone

This is the first spatial computing app on iPhone, check it out

My Favorite Quest App just Leveled Up!

This was one of my favorite apps on the Meta Quest 3, and I’ve been waiting for the day it would come to the Vision Pro. It’s finally here — though I had to search for it to find it. This really should be curated alongside the top productivity and entertainment apps. It deserves front-page placement.

Figmin XR is a fantastic creativity sandbox. You get a floating control panel for building scenes, and with either hand “lasers” or direct finger touch, you can grab, resize, rotate, and place objects anywhere around your room. The environment scan on the Vision Pro (I’m on the M5) is insanely fast. It feels instant.

Your virtual hands line up perfectly as you browse through a huge set of creation tools and content sources. There’s a full community library of art, immersive dioramas, walk-in portals, interactive toys like marble tracks, and countless other creations. And that’s just one tab. You can also pull from YouTube, Reddit art feeds, Sketchfab 3D models, animated GIF libraries, and more.

Drop a full rotating solar system into your living room. Watch a rock concert with a matching environment theme. Turn your floor into lava if you feel like it. There is a lot of content here, and the Vision Pro display takes everything up a level. I honestly can’t go back to the Quest 3 version now.

There are still a few rough edges — some YouTube videos may time out, and a couple UI elements are still clearly in beta — but there are built-in tutorials, and after a little time exploring, the interface starts to make sense and feel natural to use.

Figmin XR is absolutely worth the purchase — which is still a rare thing to say for Vision Pro apps right now.

THE BEST VISION PRO APP🙌🏾

I have used many applications on various VR and XR headsets, but Figmin XR is absolutely the best mix reality/creation tool I have ever used on any XR platform especially Vision Pro. Download this thing now and thank me later.

A good start

This is a really good start for a port. Just wish it felt more like a modern Vision Pro app instead of a old Meta quest app but fully understand. It was a lot of work to port it over. Hopefully, enough support will lead to better visionOS integration. Examples: use the visionOS keyboard instead, allow us to have a volume that we can drag stuff in from Safari, have access to the file system for 3-D objects, get rid of the annoying lasers coming out of each hand that are trying to replicate the old meta-quest controllers. Use finger gestures to rotate objects make them bigger and more. An example would be to use your thumb and middle finger to behave like a secondary quick etc.

Response from developer

You actually can turn off the hand rays, just go to settings - options - hand tracking. Hand rays help you reach far away objects, if you disable them you can still do it but you have to use "Scene view" instead. Thanks for your feedback!

The ultimate Figmin XR experience!

I’ve been using this app in many other platforms but this is next level!

The controls are different than in Vision OS but I like them a lot, interacting with models feels great!
