User reviews

Honestly probably the only app that simply allows me to view a gaussian splat after training it.

It would be helpful to have an option to view the file in a standard viewing format without stereoscopic mode. Since I donโ€™t own a VR headset, the lack of any way to disable the VR view makes it much less convenient, though.

Works Great

Excellent viewer, good choice of 3D viewing modes. Having the option to zoom a little more would be perfect, and also needs support for 3D Half SBS, because on some video projectors the image is stretched 2x on the X axis.

Excellent 3D photo making app

It's great to have a way to make 3D stereoscopic renders on an iPad from my 3DGS PLY files. You can load the gaussian splat and save stereo (side-by-side ananaglyph) images from different views, which is great. It's still a bit clunky moving the camera around, and especially rotating camera roll, and could do with a greater range of aspect ratios (e.g. square), but I hope it'll keep getting updated as it's exactly what the gaussian splat stereo photography area needs happening!
