About

FilmCam is a disposable camera on your phone. Wind the dial, shoot the roll, send it to the lab, and wait about a day for your photos to come back developed. There is no preview after the shutter. You get a viewfinder, a frame counter and the small mechanical sound of the wind wheel, and then you wait, which is the part that makes the photos feel like something you found. They come back with the grain, the halation and the light leaks already in them. THE FREE FILM Gold 200 is warm everyday color, 24 shots to a roll. Dream 100 is faded and hazy and never lands the same way twice, 16 shots. Both are free forever, and you can shoot as many rolls of them as you want. THE REST OF THE FILM Portrait 400 for soft, natural skin, 36 shots. Street 200 for cool, muted city tones, 36 shots. Mono 400 for black and white, 24 shots. Slide 50 for punchy saturation and deep blues, 36 shots. Cine 500T for teal shadows, warm skin and glowing lights, 24 shots. Night 800 for pushed grain after dark, 36 shots. Every stock develops on its own recipe: its own grain size, its own halation around bright lights, its own split tone, vignette and print softness. The film you load also sets how many frames you get, the way real cartridges do. THE LAB A new camera comes loaded with a three-shot starter roll that develops in about a minute, so you see what the film does before you commit to a full roll. Every roll after that takes 18 to 24 hours. Roughly one roll in eight gets rushed and lands early, and there is no setting for it. Nobody can pay to hurry a roll. We wrote the app and we wait like everyone else. Your phone tells you when the roll is ready. THE RULES OF FILM The stock commits on your first shot. No swapping film mid-roll. Every roll you send in develops at once, each on its own clock. Prints shared from the free camera carry a small FilmCam mark printed up the white border, the way a maker's name runs along the edge of a real 35mm strip. It is never on the photograph itself. What's New in FilmCam

1.1.1

September 21, 2026

A quicker first look, and a quieter camera. A new camera now comes loaded with a three-shot starter roll that develops in about a minute. After that, every roll takes its usual 18 to 24 hours. Every roll develops at once. The lab queue is gone for everyone, free camera included. Tap any film to see what it does before you decide on it. The only places that offer Full Access are the film's own page, Settings, and the clean option when you export. Save or Share always gives you the free print with the FilmCam mark on the border, next to the clean one. Roll credits from older versions load premium film from the film sheet again. A refreshed icon in every body color. Questions? hello@spruzzolabs.com — we read every message.
